Hey I know this topic has been dead for a while, but I thought I'd bring it back. I know everyone complains about Shoot the Rapids, but what about Pilgrims plunge? That ride is an Intamin as well, does that ride have any issues with it compared to Shoot the Rapids?

Why does it look like the next track piece they install is going to go through the A frame of that support?

Makes me wonder if Banshee will look like Raptor after the first year. You know how the first loop looks? On the top it's full of bird poo.

I e-mailed Cedar Point a couple days ago and they didn't give me a direct answer but they said the maintenance dept is still working on the ride. So hopefully this means they're making adjustments so this never happens again. I'm just happy they didn't tell me that they are getting rid of it.

Well I know that, but I'm hoping that it opens in 2014.

Anybody know if they've solved the problem with Shoot the Rapids? I really hope that opens back up. I know I'm the only one on here that likes that water ride, but to me it's a fun water ride.

Is it just me, or does the track come out of the station and make a slanted turn? You guys know what I mean? What I mean is it comes straight out and makes the turn to the left, but instead of following the same straight line as the station, it's going away from that straight line to the right.

I thought them hitting the button was a sign of the ride operators having a little bit of fun.

It's been a while since I read this topic, but are you guys suggesting KI buying a few sheep once Banshee is built? That might Bbbbaaaaddd!

^Jcgoble3, I first off wanted to say thank you for all those pictures you posted. Second, I was curious, what is that last picture of? Is that some kind of footer?

I can tell Mantis doesn't have sand in it either. That thing is the loudest on that side of the park at Cedar Point.

So with the cranes being made bigger, does that mean they're going straight for the lift hill?

Glad I was able to see those footers a couple of weeks ago when I was at Beast Buzz. R.I.P King Cobra.

Makes me wonder if Banshee will be visible from I-70. If you look close enough while your coming to the park, you can see the Eiffel Tower, Diamondback, and WindSeeker. You used to be able to see SOB, but now that ride is history.

^ So Is this where the trains will be stored when not in use?

Cedar Fair just needs to get some bulldozers in there and just level the ground. Kind of like what you do in RCT. The only thing they cannot do is remove Big Dipper because some mystery person owns that. I wish he/she would just sell it to another park or sell it back to Cedar Fair so they can move it to another park in the chain.

NO! I want Kings Island to keep the name. The Banshee name should stay.

I asked this question on another thread and nobody answered me yet. Does anyone know if Banshee T-Shirts will be sold online in the future? I didn't have enough money with me this past weekend to buy a Banshee T-Shirt.

I am Super pumped about the announcement of Banshee! I'm going to make a point to come on Opening Day and ride this thing!

Just curious, I know this has nothing to do with the construction progress, but I was curious if KI will have Banshee T-Shirts available online to buy? I didn't quite have the money to buy the T-Shirt this weekend and want to buy it at a later date.

I was super pumped to be there on Announcement night! Anybody else on here cheer when they put Banshee on the screen? I was able to meet a couple of you on that night. I am super pumped about Banshee.

I know this is a webcam, but I cannot help but think that SOB former station looks like it belongs to Flight Deck? It just looks that way even though it's not. Anybody else feel like this at all?
