  1. ^ Yes indeed. Millennium Force has an 80-degree drop (Source) Intimidator 305 has an 85-degree drop (Source) Leviathan has an 80-degree drop (Source)
  2. It's very interesting to see the amount of work that they do on Fury325 on Saturdays, as oppose to the work that wasn't done on Banshee on Saturdays. ...And yes, I know, different situation, different crews, different state, different ride. Although I'd like to think that this ride takes quite a bit longer to complete than Banshee, with 4,124 ft. of track vs. 6,602 ft. of track.
  3. Wow.......Carowinds has put some absolutely GREAT photos on their Facebook page from today of Fury325 construction. Carowinds Amusement Park on Facebook: "The first pieces of track are put into place that take riders racing toward the park's new front entrance." "Construction crews begin putting the track pieces in place for the first drop!" Photos : Carowinds Amusement Park via Facebook
  4. More track is in the progress of being installed on the first drop of the worlds' tallest giga coaster. The swarm is making a dive! This image was captured from the Carowinds Fury 325 Construction Cam

  7. Wow! What a very interesting event. I'll be sure to stop in and try it out sometime. Hopefully it's very successful this season, enough so that it can return for many more seasons, and improve during each!
  8. EDIT: Noooow I get it....Okay, just realized that It's also in the renderings...
  9. Check out the Live Fury325 construction cam if you have time, because it looks as if track is now being transported to the lift hill site for erection, and I'd guess, by the pattern of what they've been doing today, we might see that track erection happen soon!....Though maybe we wont see anything, my best guess is that more track is about to be installed. ...Not that you have anything better to do than possibly watch Fury325 track lifted into place.....
  10. Looks like a Twisted Colossus car will be unveiled tomorrow at IAPPA..... Six Flags Magic Mountain on Facebook: "Any guess as to what is going to be unveiled on Tuesday? #iaapa" Photo : Six Flags Magic Mountain via Facebook
  11. This was, to me at least, one of the most devastating things that has happened at the park in many years. The park, and its guests have lost something special, and this thing that many very people consider special, others might consider "simple" and yes, it is, but then again, it's still special. All one can do is hope that it is brought back and turned into something as special as it was before....... ....One day.....My friends....
  12. Wow....Just wow.... I now see how much I underestimated this ride before seeing this video....... This video has definitely made me have a change of heart about this ride...... Folks....If this comes to fruition.....It'll be a ride to be reckoned with....
  13. Annnnddddd...... Here she is folks.... The snow Banshee made her well awaited return.... Image captured from Kings Island's Banshee Cam
  14. Wow.....Just wow..... ...The bird is getting big..... Live Image Capture from Holiday World's Thunderbirdcam
  15. I ALWAYS count, but for no other reason beside the fact that I think it's pretty fun, for my own benefit, to see how many times I've been on a particular ride. With that said, I've been on Banshee 63 times this season and 88 times on The Beast. During the 2014 season, The Beast was probably as smooth as I've ever remembered it (except in the morning ) , which is what led me to ride it so many times. I just couldn't believe how nice it felt this season.......So I got back in line....
  16. According to the park's general manager, Mike Fehnel, the ride now stands at over 190 ft. tall.
  17. Sorry for the double post, but you have to admit that the swarm is growing at a rapid rate! Higher and higher it flies.....And today....It got up there..... Live Still Image : Carowind's Fury325 live camera
  18. Thanks for putting this together malem! It's pretty cool to see it all on chart like that and formatted with the different years and such.
  19. I'm hoping Kings Island upgrades to live stream web-cameras soon, as both Carowinds and Cedar Point currently have them. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful to have any webcams to view at all, I'm just hoping that Kings Island gets some live cams because they seem to be a lot more fun to watch, and they would be really neat to watch as the Planet Snoopy upgrades take place and as Shake Rattle and Roll is reassembled. EDIT: Forgot to mention Holiday World also has 2 live-cams
  20. @mikefehnel on Twitter: "At this very point #FURY325 will be traveling 95 MPH!" Photo : Mike Fehnel (Carowinds General Manager) via Twitter Carowinds Amusement Park on Facebook: "For today's #Fury325 Friday, we give you your first look inside the Fury 325 station house before you would ascend the 325 foot tall lift hill. Did you know that 400 trucks will be used to deliver all of the steel track and supports to build this ride? Spring can't get here soon enough!" Photo : Carowinds Amusement Park via Facebook
  21. I've watched this video many times, but never stopped in to watch the actual stunt show while it was at the park. I don't even believe that the show had a specific name, to be honest. As far as I'm aware it was just called the Action Zone Stunt Show.
  22. The swarm is approaching..... Photo via Carowind's Fury325 Construction Photo Gallery
  23. Amazing to see that The Beast looks just as good at 35, as it did at 5. The picture below, (presumably captured by Don) is by-far, hands down (or up in this case) the most beautiful photo I've ever seen of The Beast. All I can say about this photo is, Wow! @KingsIslandPR on Twitter: Photo : Don Helbig / Kings Island via Twitter For some reason, this photo just stands out to me as the BEST photo I've EVER seen of The Beast. **A special thanks to Don, or whoever from the Kings Island team that took this photo!
