  1. Add to the atmosphere of the park, and the fountain has a "better" feeling to it at KI with the real Eiffel Tower in Paris having one. The black at CW was a good idea with the water looking a little more natural than a blue. As for the mountain, I had forgotten about it, and looked at the pic with Leviathan's Turnaround in the background.
  2. I don't think the fountains will be black, but repainted a white or bright blue. KI has a symbol at the head of the fountains while CW has no symbol there so the fountains are added to take a little space and add to the park.
  3. Anyone else catch the no pre-drop on oziris and the slight turn on the newer models at the beginning. Why not an invert like black mamba, or an intamin invert, or vekoma? B&M isn't the only one that makes inverts. Just kidding, it must be B&M because there's only about 5 intamin inverts and 2 aren't launch and vekoma already has two inverts in the park plus a flying Dutchman coaster.
  4. With the limits of rct and the unknown that is "the field of dreams". So this is my thought of the ride:
  5. This new ride will draw people to that area so flight deck will get an increased ridership.
  6. This was my exact thought. Working on a roller coaster tycoon 3 model of my guess.
  7. Just to end a theory on giga coasters, how far was Diamondback completed in 2008. The track was already on site for a coaster only 230 ft tall. The footers were filled around opening day 2008. Whatever we get must have fewer track prices or be smaller than Diamondback, unless KI believes it won't fall off schedule in the Ohio Winter. Also a note that a lot of the area farther back wasn't used by SoB.
  8. They did say sports fans will be happy about a latter announcement.
  9. No camping... As in camp snoopy?! Felt like that was a bit of humor for the thread.
  10. Also after looking on Google earth, the hammerhead on Diamondback is footed by a triangular looking footer. Definitely some element producing g's.
  11. I'm thinking either intamin launch of a sort or an invert. By the fence is a pair of footers that are a width apart enough for track to go between and supports that go down to the footers. The triangles may be used for a helix finale, like a lot of the bigger coasters in the park ( beast, Diamondback, Vortex, Firehawk)
  12. Want: GCI or RMC woodie. What I expect: EuroFighter
  13. I am hoping for a wooden coaster, but it might be a well themed euro fighter.
  14. I can see why woodie cravers want Gravity Group, but RMC is in the traditional woodie business. If you want a pre-fab woodie, RMC can make those too. Rocky Mountain Construction has more options that they have done than both Intamin and Gravity Group, and that is why I voted RMC. It was close between RMC and GG for me.
  15. Sorry for a bump, but KI is running in the finals. http://behindthethrills.com/2012/12/thrill-weekly-poll-park-of-the-yearthe-finals/
  16. ^ A larger scale version of a GCI woodie would be pretty nice. The capacity is a BIG problem, averaging about 900 guests/ hour. RMC on the other hand can have a 1600 pph, the same and even better than B&M's. The RMC concept is new, and we probably don't know how reliable it is. Arm for an arm, Inverting woodie for Inverting woodie. An Intamin Mega-Lite would be a cool first for the country. Neither would that B&M Giga that everyone practically craves. The Giga can provide 1600 pph+, but the Mega-Lite offers 800 pph. Other than a GG coaster, that's all my designs that I would like to see.
  17. I like something that is brand new to the coaster world. New inversions and new concepts are a great experience. Sorry for the double post.
