  1. How can you RMC a coaster that's already a hybrid? That's like putting a hat on a hat
  2. Do people not remember that GCI has worked on Racer? Why would they need to bring in RMC? Look at what they did to Ghostrider at Knott's Berry Farm
  3. I didn't realize that one of the barns was for "plush" animals.
  4. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the old DA path might be used for a temporary overflow que for Orion
  5. I'd start an initiative for every tree cut down, another tree would be planted somewhere else on the property
  6. RMC doesn't need a touch any existing coasters at Kings Island. We've had GCI work on Racer and I'm sure they would work on The Beast to if given the opportunity.
  7. Its always in the back of my mind that we might get a T-Rex just because RMC is insanely affordable for the products they produce.
  8. Something I thought of yesterday: which Cedar Fair park had the best decade from 2010-2019? How I consider best experiencing more successes than failures. For example- I wouldn't consider KD to have the best decade in the chain. I'd be interested to hear what you all chose and why! For me, I'm still on the fence with my decision
  9. I understand what you're saying but I'm sure this isn't the 1st time this has happened to someone. However, to my knowledge, it seems like this is the 1st time someone's tried to sue CP over it.
  10. We've had some world record breakers since the last entry on this thread: Banshee (longest invert, 8th tallest, 3rd fastest) and Orion (8th fastest, 7th longest drop, 10th tallest) However, though we got two record breakers, I feel like we might not see as many in the coming years, we might get a coaster that breaks A record but nothing that breaks multiple records at once like Steel Vengeance, GateKeeper, etc. I feel like Kings Island will keep getting great coasters in the future but I think the major record breaking coasters are going to go to Cedar Point, Carowinds, and Canada's Wonderland. Its ironic I'm saying this when back in 2012 people didn't think that we'd get anymore record breakers then we got Banshee two years later.
  11. I agree, it would make it more consistent. I think that since we have Orion now, I don't think there's as much attention on DB so I'd be fine if they painted it
  12. Its more of the idea that merging them would make AZ better. Oktoberfest is indeed fine how it is with exception to the Burrito shack
  13. I'd do flats since RT has none. A Congo relocation would be ideal with WWC and RFYLCB not too far away. I'd be more incentivized to ride it if it were near other wet rides.
  14. Cincinnati has both German and Irish roots so they could stretch it to a "dark woods" theme. Just have Oktoberfest be German woods themed and have it transition to "spooky woods" with AZ
  15. In no particular order: Soak City addition Return of old favorites (50th anniversary 2022) A multi inversion coaster to replace Vortex Planet Snoopy addition Doing something to Action Zone
  16. Ohio minimum wage is also $8.55 an hour and I know for a fact CP interns get payed way over that so I feel like it balances out. Additionally, I think its subjective to where someone works. I worked in hospitality and loved it so I didn't mind working insane hours, however she might have not liked her job and felt like she was owed more.
  17. I used to work 70 hours a week starting out and it would usually be 8am-12am; grated I worked in two different places at morning and night. When your a seasonal employee you can be worked like that. I personally didn't mind because I was there for an internship and I wanted to work. I took an hour lunch and enjoyed where I worked. Interns also get nicer perks then standard hourly employees.
  18. I'm sorry TEOTWAWKI, this is the song I hear when I think of Orion
  19. I know I've been preaching this and we're all excited about Orion so just hear me out on this. What if KI got a record breaking floorless coaster by B&M to replace Vortex? I'm not talking about a dive but a traditional, ground up, 6+ inverting, floorless coaster. One hasn't been built ground up in years so the park could really make something special. With Vortex and Firehawk gone, the park's lost 11 inversions so adding a B&M floorless could help bring that number back up. Not to mention the elements they can do and the amount of land they can work with. Much like how Banshee broke invert records, KI could easily break some floorless records. All it would have to do would be at least 170ft high (or have a drop greater than 170ft), be 4,300 ft or longer, or reach a top speed over 70mph and it'd break records. I'm not saying it has to break all three I listed, but I feel like they could easily take all three records, if not two out of the three. I know enthusiasts are tired of B&Ms, (some more than others), but they're safe, reliable, and are a good ROI: all things Cedar Fair values in the coasters they install. Thoughts? Before you answer, think about it from a business perspective. We've seen it with Orion that as long as the GP is happy, the park's happy so I'm arguing that they could market a "record breaking floorless coaster" it would be a hit.
  20. That's why Slingshot was in the back of my mind
