I spoke with a man who seemed to know a lot about trademarks and he said it was a use it or loose it thing. Beat me to it

It's strange every time I come back to this thread it takes to to the first unread post. I guess it does not work that way for everyone.

Here's something new to discuss. When I look at the footers there are like 6 bolts sticking out of them even the ones on the triangle don't look as if they would mount up to a track support column I would post picks to illustrate my point but I'm on my phone and there are more then enough pics I then in the thread already. Does anyone have something constructive to add to this observation?

Have you rode a 120 mph 400 foot tall coaster? It's an amazing experience.

I don't care for Magnum at all those last few bunny hops are torture. But Bizzaro looks amazing. I am going to have to get up there..

I'm still hating Mean Streak from Saturday what a pita..

Well I saw some more bull dozers had been moved to the site. They were parked at the very bottom of the hill. And that's about it. I suspect there for moving around dirt. Not sure how much there is right now to decode. Really it seems to me that these footers are going in very very slow. In fact I'm under the impression that the only reason work is being done is to generate buzz.

PTR: Zoombezi Bash! at Zoombezi Bay, Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
Jayblazer replied to PREMiERdrum's topic in Trip Reports
Yeah I would have loved this. I will keep a look out for the event next year. The sound of an adults only lazy river and drinks is very appealing.. -
The man with all the rides is Gary Coleman. He has been at it since the ride opened. Actually he just topped 9000 rides like in the last last week or so, so he got 100 in pretty quick. I guess he's our "Single rider Bob". Sounds like a nice trip. How late did you stay? It seems to me that the crowds are staying much later this year. It used to be that after 9 the lines would thin out as the families left for the day, but now it's always packed right up until 10:00.

I'm with Terp on this one. I love them all. My son always says "wait you said _______ was your favorite??" That kid just listens to much..

I have 4 rides on Gatekeeper and honestly I thought the restraints were some of the best and most comfortable. Me my son and wife all feel that way about them. Now we all do have some meat on us but I wouldn't say the seats are built for large people as I watched two do the walk of shame yesterday.

I saw where you had said they were both front seat only so that's why I waited on Maverick. My lower back really wishes I had listened about Mean Streak..lol. Oh and the bugs liked me too.I am going to do it all over again once each in July,August and September. My October trip will be to Holiday World. The idea of riding wooden coasters through the woods with the leaves in full autumn color sounds really nice to me.

Well I woke up this morning here in Mason at 4:30 got my son up and out the door by 5 a.m.. We were at C.P. front gates by 8:30 so I made pretty good time. They opened the gates and me and my son ran like crazy for Gatekeeper. We rode the left side front seat second train of the day. This was by far my favorite spot. I will always sit left from now on but I have to trade inside and outside with the boy..lol. Next we bee lined for millennium force, we wanted front seat but the one directly behind it was open so we grabbed it. As always an amazing ride. "I love this coaster". Next up was Maverick, it was almost a walk on since this was still during E.R.T. But I had to wait a few extra because I wanted the front seat. A few people on here have mentioned how it makes the ride. Well it was better but the combination of sharp twists in the track coupled with the fact that the restraints hit my ears make it a little uncomfortable for me. But still a wild fun ride. Next we headed to Top Thrill Dragster! Now I have only been to the Point on three separate days but this ride knows when I'm there and about to board. Last time I was very next to get on and it went down for 45 minutes. Today we waited for the front seat, got in buckled up pulled the lap bar and then were ask to re- enter the que line.. It was a quick fix though about 20 minutes and it was running. Now if you have never rode front seat on TTD this is something for the bucket list.. Wow what an experience. Well after the line and delay it was now close to noon and we still had not eaten so we headed for the hotdog cart by the Cedar Point Mine ride. With our platinum passes I got 4 1/4 lb hot dogs 2 bags of chips and 2 20oz drinks for $14.04. Not bad by amusment park standards. And the food was pretty good. Next we made our way to Mean Streak. I had already ridden front seat on this so I didn't want to wait a few trains for it and just took the first seat I could. And that will be the last time I ever ride this thing. My lower back hurt so bad after this ride, I have to swear it off. We left from there and the train was boarding so we jumped on and rode it to it M.F. Station. From there we headed to Iron Dragon which despite the sign saying 2 hours was a walk on. This ride would be so much better 10 mph faster. Next up was Mantis. Now I love this ride, everyone that says B&M doesn't build them with force should take a spin on this. Unfortunately the standup cars are kind of "gimmicky" to me. This one would be a 10 with standard cars. From there we rode the train again but this time full circuit. Now it was getting to be 1:30 so I thought we would head to the front of the park since I figured it would be clearing out "wrong". We rode the little cable car things the last bit to the front. We approached Raptor but the sign said 1.5 hour wait with an attendant right there I ask if it was accurate and she said with in like 20 minutes.. Yikes so we headed to Blue Streak and guess what? It had a half hour wait. Well we rode it and it made me curse Mean Streak a little more. Well now it was about 2:30 in the after noon and I ask my son if he wanted to just suck it up and get in line for Raptor or what? He said "no I'm tired and just want to call it a day" so we said good by to the park agin and headed home. We wear back in mason by 6:30. Not bad for a quick day at the Point.. But man am I tired now..

I know it's immature but I crack up during the ballon swallowing...

Did that really just happen?? My heart belongs to a terrain style coaster. With multiple launches. Crossing my fingers hank is right.

Mobile double post victim..

Well that was funny..

Right I saw so many of my pics go up on that site with "rumors" of our exact conversations.. We say footers arranged like storage track they say it we say triangle footer like leviathan they say it.. It's clif notes of this thread.
