People who are worried about the restraints coming undone on Diamondback know this: If you sit in the even numbered rows, the ones where the seats are further apart, you can grab onto the bottom of your seat securely.

I tried to put emphasis on my really, but I don't believe I got the desired outcome. Really with question marks and exclamation was supposed to signify that they were genuinely surprised and then had follow up questions to ask. Also I just point and blurt out "They're building a new roller coaster!" It's not as though I first knudge the person, demand eye contact and then say in great detail everything I suspect about the construction.

Not everyone is so antisocial. I find some people like a good diversion while going up the intimidating Drop Tower.

Im not sure many average park guests will even take notice to the owls. While riding Drop Tower this year I often point out to the person besides me that a new coaster is being constructed for next season; more times than not, their reaction is along the lines of "REALLY?!?" Um... what else can that construction realistically be?

So like Cedar Point is a destination park, but Kings Island isn't. Could that possibly change? And if so, how so?

I'm elated to hear that this did not turn out to be as bad as I had initially feared. With the early reports sounding gruesome, the conclusion is about as good as one could have hoped for.

The riders could have easily went unconscious under water(drown), and thus would have needed to be resuscitated. There can be long term damage from the trauma that is currently unseen. I do not know any of the details.
