It looks like they have all of the SoB area meticulously cleared, as well as some additional area behind Flight of Fear. I get the feeling it's prepped for construction sooner rather than later. Also it seems like work is expanding outside of the Thunder Alley area now, trucks moving dirt around and such.

Because speculating over an unverifiable claim that Intamin track was seen barreling down I-71 was old and busted and this is the new hotness. Don't know if its relevant but I saw some green coaster track the other day round Wilmington. It will be relevant just as soon as we clarify that you are not simply an extension of the Big Sexy and Ron gang.

Since this is currently being constructed, I have to think that at least one person knows. Yeah, yeah, get technical on me. But I think you understood what I meant. Yeah, but I just HAD to. Terp would have otherwise.

I'm sorry sccard01 that Kentucky Kingdom, likely your home park was sadly closed. I couldn't imagine having Kings Island taken away from me, as I have fond memories with family and friends attached to it. Now I don't believe that people here on KIC are wanting to make this an "us against you" ordeal. This forum has some knowledgable members, and from their perspective, the forecast is gloomy for KK with no sign of a break in the weather. I wish you the best!

Fast Lane Pass on a Saturday? Absolutely! Saturday is the busiest day for Kings Island. Be on the lookout for inclement weather that might close down rides for an extended period of time, as there are no refunds for Fast Lane.

Well if you go by that logic, a B&M giga is still a possibility I do not for one moment believe you are daft enough that you're unable to see the difference between a specialty coaster like Top Thrill dragster, and what is considered more traditional coaster styles...Considering there are only a total of 4 uber-launchers in the world, I think the fact there is already one in Ohio owned by Cedar Fair is plenty sufficient. Flame on!

The more thought you put into it, the more your mind will start to wander. After awhile, you're overthinking this thing. I know I am personally guilty of this whether it be studying Kings Island on Google Earth for hours, or digging through threads like The Italian Job: Stunt Track. It seems that your first instinct is the same as mine, that this is a big B&M. If not that, then what? My second guess would be a big Intamin. Third guess would be some kind of looper, B&M again more likely than Intamin, and all others considered after those two. At this time, I am not giving any thought to this being made of wood, too soon after SoB to build another woody in it's place. Nor am I considering this to be a Top Thrill/Kingda Ka type ride, since Cedar Fair already has one in Ohio.

While riding Diamondback yesterday I realized something; I really wouldn't mind a bit if the new coaster is exactly like Diamondback. To expand on this, I would prefer an exact clone of Diamondback rather than a lot of the other possibilities here. It would have to be a ride like Storm Runner, Maverick, or Millenium Force/I305 to convince me otherwise as of right now. I would have went for a Rocky Mountain Construction wood and steel hybrid, or any woody for that matter, but that doesn't seem to be an option.

I think the 250k for bathrooms we saw on that site might be for X-base. Whenever I'm in X-base I atleast expect thouse port-o-johns to be there lol.

If you are referring to me, then you are jumping to conclusions by assuming I believe this is Kings Island's track. Just because I posted after you doesn't mean you were the one I was referring to.Now you're jumping to conclusions! Well then, who is jumping to conclusions? Because I just find your post to be random or out of place. If it was indeed spotted on that strip of highway, its highly likely to be going to KI. It would be silly to disregard the probability. Now until I get this track sighting verified, this could just be a hoax from Big Sexy.
