Not to sound like a broken record, and I don't know what it is, but for some reason I almost prefer Vortex's paint to be faded. I can't say that about any other coaster that I know. Flight Deck looks like it has been primed and is now awaiting an overcoat of paint. I don't mind it though, as it helps it keep it's low key status.

Guys this got a little out of hand. Selective is only wanting to sell the pass he has already shelled out the cash for. Since this thread seemed to lose interest, he figured he would spice it up by mentioning gold passes are only avialable for a certain period of time. Some members might scoff at this approach, but he only needs to sell one person a pass, not every member on here. During that "12 hour" window, I saw his message, but none of my buddies were looking to purchase the pass that weekend so I didn't respond. He probably also saw that I was active on this site during the time period, so he had no reason to hold out for me. Selective, it is still rather likely my brother or friend will be interested in purchasing the pass, it's just a matter of when they are wanting/available to go to KI for the first time this year. Shouldn't be too far from today now that daily operation has begun. I will have them buy the pass from your rather than paying more money plus tax. If you do happen to sell the pass in the meantime, I understand.

All cool things start out as a muddy pond. Proof? Florida. Proof? Diamondback Viking Fury is not a part of Oktoberfest?? Then what is it a part of? If you put the exit and entrance in different places it could work. Just my opinion though. I don't know, floating around International Street area...

Oktoberfest is hardly an area at this point. All it consists of is: Bier Garten, Delirium, Slingshot, and Adventure Express. I don't think Viking Fury can really be considered a part of Oktoberfest. That being said Action Zone still needs this attraction more since it's a much larger area, and has more potential. Also Oktoberfest is already congested by Slingshot, imagine what the queue for a new roller coaster would do to the area.

Any guesses on which direction the lift hill will point? Or where the station will go?

Cedar Point's wing rider hasn't even debuted to the general public yet, so I don't believe it is very likely Kings Island is currently constructing one . That would just be too many eggs in one basket. Does everyone believe that Cedar Fair will not build a coaster taller than Millenium Force? Having a new tallest coaster at Kings Island, will just make the Cedar Point crowd take notice, and possibly pay a visit to KI. Millenium Force is not going to be the tallest North American roller coaster forever(Not counting Kingda Ka/Top Thrill type rides), why not keep the record within the state of Ohio? The space is available.
