  1. So I neglected doing this trip report. After doing CP & KIC Day the week before, then doing coasters the weekend after, then somewhat again this past weekend...I'm trip report-ed out... So here's a quick glimpse and some details of the trip. Friday night, dead, got alot of rides in, and also did every haunt and still left early at 1100. Saturday, busy day due to Jesusy people in the park for that ridiculous concert, we got fast passes to get by them it was worth it, also did every haunt again. Also the skeleton crew show on the midway is something to not be missed. Sunday was a nice relaxing day, lots of rides, and caught up the haunts as the rain started to set on the park near closing time. Eden Musee is the best haunt at CP, and totally trashes KI's Madame Fatales. Don't go to Thirsty Pony for drinks, my cheap Angry Cider microbrew was 6 dollars?? Motel 6 off of Rt 2 & Rye Beach is quite nice, and very cheap, especially the military discount. Food wise, Chet & Matt's Pizza is amazing, esp. the baked potato pizza, or the taco pizza. THree hour drives constantly suck. Also, I really hope you enjoy this terribly lazy set trip report, I usually type essays of details, but CP didn't really change from two weeks before, just did lots of rides, and lots of haunts, nothing exciting. Enjoy the pics and videos, especially the videos, lots of fun Apparently there's such thing as fake ice cream??? Nifty as I work with these daily, times have indeed changed if you take a look at current heart catheter sets, and their various forms
  2. ^I do agree...I never had a chance to ride them, anywhere, nor will I have a chance to ride them at CP next year..ah well
  3. Put a meme in a meme, that's a meme in a meme...impressive But I ain't even mad either...I just find your ignorance amusing lately
  4. What is crypt's theoretical capacity, I couldn't find it anywhere...but still
  5. It's not...I was there all hours of the day and night during the the pre and post season...never had anything... It is weird to go through dead of night, all lighting turned off except necessary lighting/coaster skyline...but that's it
  6. So you wanna pull out a flat that has horrible capacity, to put in a coaster that has horrible capacity
  7. Y'all like volcano? I thought it was ok, but eh...I'll take FOF over it honestly...I305 is def. something to not miss especially considering it's up again
  8. 1. The restraints were a slight issue, but the trains themselves and their self diagnostic checks led to many PLC resets and recoding it's first week=Downtime 2. Poor control panel meant small issues with capacity (see mantis, it's panel is a nightmare to operate)...or unlocking the wrong restraint/seat, and having to hold all this down while a ride is cycling and pay attention to the platform when you should be paying attention to the ride.=Safety issue/delayed dispatch not hitting interval/lower capacity 3. Friction brakes aren't necessarily bad, but will I prefer intamin going all magnetic brakes and drive wheels, oh of course, it's much smoother and much more preferred. Also dead stops with friction brakes suck, see Mantis on block stops or hard stops...nuts=nonexistent Again read the post "not every manufacturer still has everything down." Every manufacturer has errors...Not one company is above the other, they all have different business models, and they all go for different experiences for the common goal, a great ride... End of story
  9. Ride Rides Dominator, ride front row right hand side seat, great ride, the floorless really gets to ya, and the pre drop and curve right is awesome on that side, and first loop is beautiful. I305, get it done quick, lines do get crazy, especially now that it's reopened I'm sure it's ganna have some lines. Volcano is ok...but FOF is right nextdoor and is similar, if not a better experience...post launch, the ride seems slow as hell, so you could skip it if ya wanted Ride their Crypt...still exists, not indoors but still Hit up Grizzly if you didn't do it's sister at CW, or ever do wildcat at old Coney...dunno your age..it's kind of like our beast and racer combined, and kinda Gemini's figure 8 deal...I guess that's the best way to describe it, but idk, it's a cool ride
  10. About time...it's only been how long since the event...and how long since the b-day event when you said you'd post it Tisk tisk
  11. Flight Deck--Front Row of cars 1 thru 3 left side Racer--3rd car, middle row, left hand side AE--First car, front row FOF--Anywhere honestly Vortex--71 Backlot--Anywhere Beast--Red Train, Car One, second row, right side during normal whatever rides. Prefer very front or very last car middle row, right hand side DB--Prefer very back right seat, but however due to recent roughness, I will prefer anywhere in the front that does not feel rough I also see none of you listed Surf Dog ^^_
  12. Lol...tooooo many changes to list... Biggest change, change park ops and bring someone like Bill Spehn or one of the Area ride managers from CP to KI to change things. WindSeeker loading procedures, DB stacking, ridiculous extra procedures on platforms/rides, ect....And no more minors in rides... But again, tooooo many changes..
  13. Comparing wrestling to coaster manufacturers...not a good analogy I'm just ganna say this, not even your favored manufacturer still has everything down...with all of today's technology, they couldn't predict the forces of the heartline roll on riders/trains on Maverick? They failed to see their train design on TTD being a problem. They failed to have an emergency restraint release on water rides, or design working boats to travel through the trough. They also have let CF order half assed wheel replacements (see blue wheels on TTD/millie), very very worn, very quickly. Each manufacturer is full of problems...each manufacturer has great products, and each manufacturer has a different business model and a different outlook on what they want out of their products. B&M has designed terrible control panels, overengineered their trains (see wing rider restraints/diagnostic checks), and only use proven technology, they are just now starting to push the envelope (see how long it took to use magnetic brakes, and they still use friction brakes) There..it's done, it's set, it's over...
  14. Very cool theming, terrible actors and all around terrible idea...They're more, undead, than zombies... And again, the fighting beavers...my man brain chuckles But great props and scenery, nice little hidden things (check out the blueprints & stuff in the haunt), but other than that..I won't waste time on it. Go do Eden Musee...best haunt there
  15. Could be a few things..what was weather like, was it raining earlier or whatever...my bet is down mechanical as that ride has really been moving people but who knows
  16. I'm just over here....riding roller coasters...good stuff
  17. Itis after anything just means inflamed usually...dunno how this fits haha
