Excellent video!!!! Thanks for posting!!! I assumed everyone on KIC has seen this already. Its excellent but I am a big History nerd. If you've got the time though watch the whole thing.

I remembered seeing this video a while ago and I just came across it again the other day.

I would love to see Action Zone get a whole new theme. I think that would definitely be in an off season when they are not adding a very expensive new roller coaster though. There aren't any kiddie rides in that section so why not go dark and spooky. Flight Deck becomes The Bat. Paint and sort of enclose the bottom half of Drop Tower and call it The Pit. Paint Delirium brown and silver and rename it The Pendulum. Darn these ideas that I like that nobody else would. Oh well there's always Roller Coaster Tycoon.

I wished it would have broken the height record too. If you go to rcdb though and look at the records for inverts, Banshee is going to be in the top 4 or better in everything else (including drop). When you add it all up we are getting one heck of a ride. Did I just say "one heck of a ride"? Geez I'm getting old.

I haven't seen this more official looking POV posted anywhere. I know these things are never 100% accurate but I love how it looks like it will maintain its speed through much of the ride. I thought I heard it won't have MCRB and it doesn't look like it from the recreations. To be perfectly honest I was kinda meh about it right after the announcement but now I am really getting excited about Banshee.

It was also shut down on Wednesday for a while. First time in a long time I haven't gotten to ride it on a visit. Oh well it was a kids day anyway. I did get to go on Boo Blasters 4 times though.

In the words of Jesse Spano "I'M SO EXCITED. I'M SO EXCITED. I'M SO.......scared." I think that nicely sums up how many people on KIC are feeling right now.

Here are my theories behind the Son of Beast isn't coming back tweet: 1. It is just a straightforward tweet 2. They are playing up the whole death theme 3. Who has been saying SOB is coming back? Nobody that I know of. We have recently been saying The Bat may be coming back though. Maybe this is a case of look at what wasn't said. (Retheming of Flightdeck not a wing rider) I'm not sayin'. I'm just sayin'.

I wish I could be there thursday but I can't. I will be at the park Wednesday though. I will probably be wearing my usual New England Patriots shirt and neon highlighter yellow shoes. If anyone sees me stop me and say hi.

If Don wears a Santa Claus costume that would be glorious.

After the ride is announced can we keep this topic going but have it only contain YoungStud dating tips. Now that would be entertaining

I gotta say I miss Vortex lover. Those couple of days he was on here were magical. Even for people like me who are mainly lurkers. Those were must read posts.

They did have a YoungStud tombstone. While it was arguably the biggest and best tombstone it kept breaking and they would spend half the day getting it back up again. Just kidding YoungStud. I wish the new ride would have been an Intamin also.

If it does end up being blue and silver that's more of a modern high-tech color scheme than I figured it'd be. It will fit in nicely with AZ. Yes I am basing this solely on the silver comb. I know that I can and may very well may be wrong about the colors.

Or one final huge diversion? Hmm I don't think it's a diversion. Just throwing it out there.

I'm glad that it is "world record breaking". I was worried they were going to pull something where they said it was the fastest, tallest, most inversions etc. in the Midwest or something like that. Ain't nobody got time fo dat.

Just wondering. Is there a reason many inverts don't have steeper drops. I'm guessing it has something to do with the stress on the track at the bottom of the drop. I agree with Youngstud that if it is an invert I'd like to see something with a steep drop. A +150ft 90 degree first drop on an invert now that would be awesome. Or does this already exist?
