  1. I've never paid attention really. Most of the time when I go its short lines or walk on so most of the wait times signs say 15 minutes. Has anybody here ever actually kept track? Also, how are the different times determined? Just something I've always wondered.
  2. I haven't seen this idea thrown out there yet. Any chance the area may house a permenant haunt? Maybe both it and the new ride have a spooky abandoned campground theme. In the hundreds of times I've been to KI I've never been during Halloween Haunt (way too crowded for my liking) so I don't even know if this is feasible. Indoor maybe like a mess hall and bunks. Just a thought.
  3. If you're only doing one day just spend the extra and buy the Fast Lane. You can wait until you get into the park. Chances are it won't be too crowded but you may be surprised how many people go to Kings Island that week. It's really hit or miss. I used to go that week every year. Then I think word got out that it wasn't busy.
  4. If I had my things stolen the first thing I would do is get a new cell phone so I could call and cancel my cards. I would definately have a new one within 3 and a half hours. I'm thinking you had someone follow you for a ride or two and listen in on your conversation. Maybe they tried using the cards near where Taylor lives so it would be less suspicious and harder for her to dispute a charge. And maybe I missed something because frankly that was the longest post I've ever attempted to read on here. Excuse me for skimming a little.
  5. They'll have lawyers and morticians camped outside the exit ready for your business.
  6. My I.Q. dropped 10 points just reading this.
  7. At Cedar Point last year we bought the Fast Lane passes early in the year before many people knew what it was. It seemed like we were constantly let in front of the thuggiest people when the lines merged. I over heard more than one threat. Nothing directly said to us though so we just ignored it. That's the closest I've ever seen a fight or argument happening honestly. Nothing at KI.
  8. The worlds tallest, fastest, only looping campground. Awesome!!!
  9. I figured they would do something about this policy when I saw the story about people hiring "tour guides" with disability passes at Disney. Just like everything else in life one group of selfish idiots takes advantage and ruins it for those actually needing the program. Unfortunate but I think Cedar Fair did the best they could in a no win situation. The only other thing they could maybe do is actually have times that you can sign up for to walk on to the ride so that there are no surprises of long waits and families can plan out their visit better.
  10. Although I dislike Invertigo at KI I think the worst one I've ever been on is the roller coaster at New York New York in Las Vegas. It hurts and is not exciting at all. Not only that but it costs $14 to ride it once. Most expensive headache I've ever had.
  11. Yes for anyone that hasn't had it, skip Larosas on one trip to the park and stop at Marion's in Mason. Mushrooms, sausage, pepperoni, well done. Mmmmmmm
  12. Invertigo. It's short. It's awkward staring at strangers sitting across from you. And it hurts. No thanks.
  13. (Im on my cell phone and accidentally posted that early. Let me finish my thought) Any time I tell someone that I like the Larosas inside the park better they always agree with me. Like they thought they were alone in thinking this. It's kind of like the sauce is sweeter. I don't know.
  14. Does anyone else thing that the Lasrosa's pizza inside the park tastes different than at one of their restaurants? Any time I tell some
  15. I try to go on days just like Mondays forecast. Storms for half the day that clear up late afternoon or early evening. Most everything will probably be less than 15 minute wait if not just walk on as long as the rain doesn't end too early. Sure Fast Lane probably won't be necessary but you're pretty much guaranteed not to have to wait in line at all. Except for food maybe.
  16. Not really an interesting thing a ride op did but sort of. My friend and I were the only ones in line for the last ride of the night for Flight of Fear. The ride Op asked if we wanted to ride it with the lights on. This is something I've always wanted to do. But just as we were about to yell yes a mom and her young daughter came into the station and were very excited to ride it in the dark. Apparently it was her first ride on a roller coaster with inversions. So we kept our mouths shut. Another time I guess.
  17. Attractive women huh? I do got time fo dat
  18. I just pictured this thing driving through Coney Mall. People diving out of the way. Chaos ensues.
  19. I'd like to see the show but I have a problem. I am terrified of clowns and with a name like Psycho Circus I figured there is a good chance there would be some in the show. Are there any? I'd probably run out screaming if there were some and one came near me. Ain't nobody got time fo dat.
  20. I just thought of something today. Whatever is being built I think it will be something big. No small flat ride or something like that. The main reason I think this is simple: Fast Lane Plus. I can see why Fast Lane Plus includes Firehawk with the slow rider load time. But I think to make it worth the extra $10 they'll have to add something else besides The Beast. Like CP did by including Gatekeeper with Fast Lane Plus. Just a thought.
  21. Cousin- "Someone died on Flight Deck. The car got stuck upside down and someone slipped out" Me- "No that was Flight Commander. That was a completely different ride that hasn't been there for 20 years" Cousin- "That's what it used to be called. They renamed it after that kid died. It's the bluish grey one that swings all over the place" I just let him think he was right so he would repeat that story to someone else and sound like an idiot again.
  22. Wow this is incredible news. Hey did you know that Mantis at Cedar Point was originally called Banshee. And the sky is blue.
  23. I haven't seen it mentioned on here but I'm sure it probably has been. (Sorry i didnt want to go through almost 90 pages to check.) I saw in a trip report from ohiocolts a sign hanging from a tree that says "no camping". I know it's probably just a diversion but when I see this along with the "bone-chilling screams" sign I can't help but think of well The Beast. I seriously doubt that any ride would be in The Beast lineage after the bad press of SOB. But I know I can't be the only one that thought this.
  24. Keeping my fingers crossed that you're right about the theme and name.
  25. I like your theme of "?". Knowing Cedar Fair's history I'd say this is really the most likely outcome.
