Just wait. I think they will be using "full circuited inverted" in there somewhere too. lol
-
For trademark purposes would "bat" be the same as "The Bat"? I'd say yes and Lagoon would have a winnable suit against Cedar Fair. If this is the case...then DC Comics would have a case against Lagoon park. So on and so on... "bat" and "batman" are distinctly different. There also has to be a similarity of usage. A car called a bat and a roller coaster called a bat would not infringe on each other. Two roller coasters called bat would.

The blueprint is real.

If they announce it friday, it will be lost in the news cycles on Monday. If they announce it Thursday, it'll be all over the news on Friday and people will be talking about it.

I suggested a while back that it's sob's mama back to have her revenge on those who killed her son.

It's them Banshee keychains we've been hearing about.

I had never heard of a zero car before, but a search showed that apparently alpengeist has one: http://coasterbuzz.com/Forums/Topic/discussion-on-the-zero-car And indeed it appears to have a zero car: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2159/2338951825_95999be9c3.jpg

If the blueprint is a fake, it was done by King's Island themselves. And they went as far as to fake the actual footers in the ground and the track pieces at CSF to match their fake Blueprint. ie - its real.

Oziris has a dive loop http://rcdb.com/9675.htm?p=39601 Edit: oops the was the immelmann, here is the dive loop: http://rcdb.com/9675.htm?p=39584

Well height restrictions aren't an issue as there are 300 foot tall rides in the park. This thing will be between 150 and 250. I'm figuring closer to 150 unless they go real steep on the lift and then we could have tallest invert. Fastest invert and longest drop are definitely in play. Longest is possible, but someone mapped it out on here and their numbers suggest otherwise. Most inversions for an invert is realistic. I can see 7 for sure on the blueprint. An 8th to take the most would be a logical step. I think "tallest dive loop" is probably going to be one of them. Maybe tallest vert loop. Of course all of these are "on an inverted coaster"

Yes! You can ride the Footer ride! Still more pleasant than riding mean streak!

First ever invert to have the lift hill go through a loop.... I really hope its not just that. lol
-
Take a minute to imagine what the support structure for such a coaster would look like. That could be the killer of the idea. It would be similar to an inverted, but would have to be wider and much beefier. Might make it impractical or too expensive.
-
Actually, there is a flying coaster in China that uses one loading platform and not the dual type....this could actually be a flyer and not an invert... Maybe dual station was the wrong terminology. I was referring to how on Gatekeeper they have to load the train from the same side you unload as the car and track are in the way. I was just wondering if they had the car hang from the track if they could make it so you could pass through and speed the loading process.

Did you see the pics of the coaster track I just posted on page 564?? Definitely doesn't look like wing rider track. Looks like invert track. Could you show me a pic of what wing rider track where the car hung below the track would look like? Or what the b&m code for it would be? Did you read my post at all? Wow. Chill out. No need to be rude at all! And yes I did read, but the track shape and size doesn't look nearly wide enough for a wing rider. As far as hung below the track like flight deck, it could very well be that, as the two types of track are very similar, but I am calling invert because if they are looking for a unique, different ride to put in Action Zone, a full invert would fit the bill versus suspended. Invertigo is not a full invert, and Flight Deck is your suspended coaster, so a full invert would fit well for unique. That and I just can't picture a suspended coaster being able to handle that many inversions... or any... but that's just me. Also why would there be an invert part number on the blueprints (assuming, again, those are real, which I and many others believe they are....) if it was going to be something other than invert? As much as I would love a wing rider, I don't think we are going to see that for Banshee. So you saw the part where I said I was firmly in the Invert camp and was just speculating about if they could or would build a wing rider that hung under the track? My question wasn't even about what we are getting, but you still responded asking if I had seen your photos and that clearly it was inverted track.

I'm in the inverted camp firmly, but just for speculations sake, could they build or would there even be a reason to build a wing rider where it hung below the track? Could that prevent the need for dual side loading and speed up load times?

I think there is plenty of room for one after the first zero g/cork and the norwegian/batwing/dive+immelman device, but I don't know what it would look like on a footer map.
-
Yeah, I did that with the footers and google maps a while back. A typical 35 degree lift would put it around 150. For it to approach 200, it would have to be a 45 which, AFAIK, has not been done on an invert.Guys I got the world recordSTEEPEST LIFT HILL ON AN INVERT Edit:to slow If it is a 45 degree lift, it would also be the tallest invert in the world. Probably would get longest drop and I'd guess fastest as well.

I was going to do that the other night, but was going to have to do a lot of resizing it to get it to match google maps for scale, so I decided I'd rather wait for someone else to do it. lol

?Anyone? 752 feet according to this site. http://www.daftlogic.com/sandbox-google-maps-find-altitude.htm

Except for all the dual footers.

Montu's is a batwing. The blueprint looks more like a Norwegian loop. But it wouldn't surprise me for them to call it a batwing for marketing purposes.
