The park will require a new picture if it is not meeting their criteria such as : Difficulty judging the age Side portraits Any other person, objects or animals in the picture Shadows on the face blocking a clear view Any makeup, hats or other costumes that would change the appearance All you need is a simple picture like a passport photo. Beginning of the season, I think it was a free for all of theft of the all season cups being stolen all the time. News stories about the thefts at Kings Island and at other Cedar Fair parks also. People have suggested tying them to the season pass but that will not work well especially if you have multiple cups in a family and kid grabs the wrong cup and he cannot have any refills since it was tied to someone else's season pass. (Just like a dining plan) Taking a picture of the barcode is smart so if stolen then the park can deactivate the cup. I've heard the cup is going to be red next year with Mystic Timbers/Winterfest , any one else heard this rumor ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

While riding WindSeeker today, I was able to see the Field of Screams and it look like a large outdoor maze kinda like Cornstalkers but much larger area. Looks to a fun Haunt season. Going Friday night to enjoy the new Haunts and rides. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I will be at the park on Sunday and hope to get some good pictures for my photo album to be added , but on a different note. Don't know if it has been said already but looking at the calendar of 2017 showing Good Friday on April 14, 2017. When Banshee opened in 2014 it was also on Good Friday , so I am foreseeing Opening Day as April 14 , 2017 for Mystic Timbers with a media day on Thursday early morning and hopefully they will invite coaster enthusiasts for the event. So on Saturdays the Haunt indoor mazes start at 6PM as scare actors make their way to the houses around 5-6pm. Planet Snoopy closes at 5pm to transform into the Haunt. They have now added the No - Boo necklace as an additional purchase on the All Inclusive Friday night ticket online for $9.37. I am sure this will be available to purchase in park.

The park is completely packed today! Not worth the $1 deals for aggravation and waiting in long rides lines. I do give props to all the associates working today and dealing with the heat and unruly people in the park and dealing with it. They all deserve a little something extra this weekend.

I am sure Kings Island does not want to confuse the "average" person with showing Haunt early on the website as they would be easily confused showing up for Labor Day weekend and not having Haunt activities in the park.

With the success of FunPix hoping KI will bring back the on ride photos of Firehawk and Flight of Fear. Maybe adding a couple of new ones to old rides like The Racer or Adventure Express. I would think Mystic Timbers will have one next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Since the gold pass upgrade option became a hot topic for parents whose child grew to the over 48" height from the fall to the spring/summer they would require them to upgrade to the adult pass for the cost difference which was usually $15. Parents complained a lot and was featured on the news media reports so to eliminate all upgrading and height issues they decided one pass for all ages 3 and up. Kings Dominion is experimenting with a Pre-K pass for free admission to ages 3-5. You need to register the pass online then have it processed by April 2017 and they have free admission thru the Haunt. They are requiring proof of age i.e.: birth certificate or US passport to prove the age. If successful maybe it will be installed chain wide. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

After today's announcement, makes me even happier to be with the top tier of Cedar Fair pyramid at Kings Island. They really need to do more to compete with Busch Gardens. Even a Winterfest announcement for the park would have been good, but it seems they are planning long range for family value entertainment instead of thrill park excitement.
