  1. It is inside the fence. The Coney Potato Works is closed for the season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. And so it begins for 2018... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. With Attitudes and Coney Potato Works closed , looks like a capital improvement will happen in Coney Mall area next year. Some are guessing a Smokehouse like Soak City , others are saying antique car ride. Dino Alive not returning for 2018 is also a good spot for some area to clear and build a coaster or some flat rides or antique car ride also in an area extension off Coney Mall just like X base has done for the past 10 years. Planet Snoopy might follow the lead of some of the other parks and called Camp Snoopy for 2018. Lots of great things to discuss. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. As a member of ACE for the past several years, I enjoy events that are scheduled locally and enjoy the magazines and newsletters reading about other amusement parks around the world. It's a great club to belong to with the great perks of having Kings Island in my backyard. ACE and KI have always enjoyed a great relationship with its members and will continue in the future years to come. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. To answer your question about the parking. Your one free visit in 2017 does include one free parking usage. You will be required to pay for parking on any additional visits in 2017 since your season pass benefits start in 2018. The passes, once purchased, you will receive a confirmation email to print the voucher or they can scan from your smartphone device, you will need to be processed in season pass processing during park operations for your 1 free visit. It opens 1 hour prior to park opening. Any child ages 3 and older require an admission ticket. So if she meets the over 3 criteria it's best to order all at the same time. One word of advice is that the day you complete the transaction is the day your payment plan starts. So if you want the 1st of the month start on 9/1. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Yes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Hot Blooded, Monster Rock & Blood Drums should be back this year for shows. I saw the tombstones for Nightmare Alley & Sorority House and also at Coasterstock Lance said 3 new additions were coming this year, hoping more rooms like The Viewing like last year.
  8. Just FYI that is KI Fire & Safety weekend. It is a good event. It offers one free admission ticket to First Responders and discount tickets to their families. Not a traditional busy event. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Last year, it was overcast skies and rain. Temps were high 60's & mid 70's. It was a great day to ride on coasters in the rain. I don't think there was more than 10-15K people in the park, and a 10-15 minute wait for rides. Rides went down due to weather for sometimes but it was still a fun time. So weather plays a huge factor in the attendance in the park. Check weather.com for mason zip code 45040 for weather details to help plan your day.
  10. https://www.visitkingsisland.com/play/shows/cirque Sunday is 3, 5, 7PM
  11. $15 for single & $20 for a double stroller. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I will say I work for the park and I also work at Luxottica and I take all the unclaimed sunglasses and prescription glasses from lost & found and they are donated to Onesight for recycling which they provide free glasses to underprivileged countries so they can see the world clearly. The rides of which glasses are lost most is Banshee & Firehawk. Those inversions will make them fall. So buy the strap for the glasses or store them in your cargo shorts in a case to keep the frame from bending. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The biggest complaint I have seen is about food and drink lines. They maybe short staffed in the food department. It has been a real struggle to have the department fully staffed running smooth. Hopefully by Mid June they will be able to get the ball rolling. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. The park will periodically reevaluate rides for safety. Linus Beetle Bugs was re-evaluated and they determined for the safety of the guests that a 36" height requirement for the ride. I am sure glad they do this for the safety of my little friends in the park and peace of mind for parents. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. and just like that, the sale was extended until June 5, now for the real procrastinators get to purchase. Dining Plan did go up in price Monday from $114 to $120 on regular & gold. EDIT: gotta love when that shift key doesn't work.
  16. The event is usually reserved Friday nite after Labor Day.
  17. $42 BAF ticket up to max. 4 tickets per passholder
  18. Check in after 12noon on Friday will be at Guest Services. Just make sure you have your Coasterstock ticket voucher and Coaster Club ID card when checking in.
  19. Ironic that it rained on opening day and again 45 years later. Happy Birthday KI. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Check the Woodstock Whirlybirds they play soundtrack while your riding. I'm sure with Winterfest this year it will be abundantly played throughout the park. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. The actual park map you can get while visiting has Mystic Timbers but I agree that the map has not been updated on the app or online with the new website update. Hopefully it will be soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Complete power outage park wide no ETA when it will be restored... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Great, awesome , non stop ride from that first drop till the shed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. To upgrade to preferred parking is $10. If you have pass, prepaid card from Kroger or prepaid online. $10 is the price this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. With Opening day just around the corner, just a simple reminder about preview night and Opening Day. PLEASE BE PATIENT AND UNDERSTANDING about lines for food and rides. They will get better during the season, but remember there are teenagers having their first official day at work or first time at a job. We know what to expect, but some people do not. I would hope we have some compassion and understanding that not everything will be perfect the first time. thank you for listening.
