Sigh, it's the first time in 3 years that they pushed it up a full 6 days. Usually 72 hours extension was given. Well written article about some popular rides and having taken that walk of shame from Millie last year was not fun. I didn't think I put on much weight from 2014 to 2015 but since that belt didn't click away I went. Very sad. Hoping the off season weight program did its job. Hope to report success on June 6. Given the huge success of the meal plan seeing the cost rise this past weekend was no big surprise. Long food lines leads me to think the park over sold the dining plan and will now cause more problems or bigger price increase next year due to recent guest issues. It's too early in the season to start complaining about ERT , it's great that the park allows this is extra benefit and is trying something new. Every month new rides for ERT. it is a good concept and applauded KI for making a change. Banshee and Diamondback all last year. Not a great thrilling benefit. If it doesn't work out that's fine and KI will make necessary changes but give it a chance to work out. I'm just glad they allow ERT at the park as a benefit. But if you feel the need to lodge your opinion about ERT then contact the park via email and they will direct to the rides department and marketing so that your opinion counts. Yes , the park will be experiencing an uptick due to chip cards being switched over. Your best option is using the accesso website www.visitkingsisland.com/payments or KI App to change your credit card information. If all else fails contact the park at 513-754-5700 but be patient.
