So the last two seasons they have asked pass holders to just rescan their passes for reentry into the park. I'm just thinking out loud but I'm guessing they are tracking this trend of pass holders and if they leave the park at certain times for lunch , etc. to entice people to stay in the park longer to spend more money. Anyone who had the Season pass meal deal was great , and did you spend more time, money (drinks) because of this paid benefit. I know that my family did last year and again this year.

Correct me if I'm wrong , but I thought the new Starbucks building will have wifi and that Banshee movie cameras installed last year would have to incorporate wifi to record your ride video. I believe park wide wifi connection would take away from the theme park experience. Enjoy the rides, entertainment games and stay for the wifi? Unless they partner with a local service ie: Festhaus wifi sponsored by Cincinnati Bell.

So looking forward to Coasterstock and also saw Color Me Rad race will be held at Kings Island Saturday May 16 from 7:30-11 in their parking lot by Soak City and encompasses the parking lot for runners and surrounding area. They will get ERT on that day also at 9:30. I love this event and wish I could attend but roller coasters rule.

Opening Day 18th. Closed 19th for private event. Hmmm. Who is the private event for this year ?

Great list of events, 2014 was sure a year to remember, but I don't agree with the Dog Days event. I would have to say the park improvements in Action Zone with the re-themed ride of The Bat from Flight Deck and also with a new restaurant, The Chicken Shack, with covered seating in the Action Zone area and patio seating at Festhaus, along with interactive maps in the park. All in all great job listing events of 2014 for Kings Island! Great Job! I enjoyed it.

I have lived here all my life and all the times I have been to KI and seen the signs have not visited this shop. Maybe this year I will try and take a look at this shop.

Banshee 140 rides. The last weekend was brutal.

Which parks do you intend to visit next year? I plan on attending Carowinds in June & Holiday World in August.

Once every 5 years would be nice. No rides just ice skating on the fountain, Christmas carols in the Festhaus, hot chocolate from Tri-state largest Starbucks next year and special gift shops with Christmas gear.

I would not mind something like a winter event once every 5 years just to mix it up and enjoy a holiday in the park.

I am predicting new pass cost at $125 and renewal at $105 after the 4 day extension. Better get the $90 deal now.

best credit is riding Shake Rattle & Roll the day before she was torn down and now can't wait to see the new improved 2015 model.

Looking forward to some "chipotle" style serving of the funnel cakes at the end of my visit at KI.

Where is this new Starbucks in the park?

A reptile show was there every month for the last 2 years as vendors, breeders would showcase the best reptiles in the area. And now they have moved from the location to another hotel in Fairfield. Thinking now this could be a reason why the change of venue Sent from my iPhone using Taptalk
