I am looking forward to the train tour , as it is the one part of the park I have not seen behind the scenes. What one free item are you most looking forward to receiving ? T-shirt, pin, souvenir cup(free refills 2 days) or on-ride photos for The Beast and Banshee? Just curious ?

Yes, the picnic grove is where the dinner and lunch and to gain admission to dinner and lunch your lanyard is required.

I don't think so. Last year it was an hour wait to ride Banshee and just miserable. Just glad to get my $1 Banshee ice cream just remember to show your Gold or Platinum pass to receive your delicious treat.

Jr. Passes are for the Platinum pass only. Due to the height issues from people having to upgrade to an adult pass mid season from their jr passes last year, all gold and Regular passes are ages 3 and up now. 1 Day tickets to the park can be purchased for jr. tickets also.

The only time I felt unsafe was 2 years ago at Cedar Point riding Mean Steak. The lap bar did not click the required 2x and tried to get a ride operator to adjust but they did not listen and gave the all clear and we went on our way. That same year was when that woman died at Six Flags in Texas. I feel lucky to survive but I did let the rides op know when we returned into the station.

Still have yet to conquer my fear of TTD. Just looking at the height and the speed just makes me squirm

I have to wonder when Paramount sold the land to Great Wolf Lodge there was a term of non-competition clause for a resort to be built within a time period.

Just remember that the dining plan can change at any time. I do believe the park is testing these locations to see if they can create more interest in the dining plan for season pass holders. Platinum pass holders now pay $129 for their dining plan , up $9 and Gold and Regular are still at $96. I tried to convince my girlfriend to add it to her season pass and for her kids also. Trying to sell her that's it's the best thing to do.

Yes stop by at any ticket window or guest services and they will exchange it for the platinum pass.

I have never seen the park ever turn anyone away due to high attendance. I've seen Disney during the Christmas holiday season and not allow additional admission entrance due to capacity reasons.

These things will happen because the park is not running on a daily operating schedule and most were new employees. Once they work the job for awhile things will run smoothly again. I'm glad that people were compensated for their trouble and allowed for making people happy for their small incidents. Free souvenir cup, or just a friendly smile. Glad that no one got upset. Just keep calm and smile Kings Island opens Friday.

My kids had a blast on the Gliders. They liked the fact they could control the Gliders and getting a tshirt was an extra bonus. They said it was their new favorite ride at the park and proceeded to get back into line to ride it again.

If you are attempting to renew your pass it will have a block not allowing to renew. You will need to payoff the balance from last year in order for you to renew your pass for 2015. Contact the park at 513-754-5700 for options.

2015 dining plans will be honored for tonight.

Yesterday was Employee Kick off party and they had Diamondback & Woodstock Gliders rides with food. Good times last night.

Looking toward the past

Yep, I'm one of the guys in the yellow (the shortest of the two guys with hats). My main scenes are near The Beast, near Breaker's Bay, and of course, the grand finale. As I've said before, it was a blast to make! I had 3 friends in the video shoot , all admissions people. They still talk about the FUN they had making the video. They all were wearing blue admission and tan shorts. Still fun to watch.
