I was at the 7PM show last night and brought my girlfriend's mom and dad to the show and they loved it and can't believe the talent they saw. They wished they had seen the show sooner, and I said that you still have one more week to see them before they go away. This show was a Grand Slam for KI, they need the show to return next season to enjoy this awesome show!

My kids forgot their pass and that paper receipt that was printed off for them, they used it for the meal plan that day with no issues. They just scanned the bar code on the receipt.

I agree with Don and Kings Island policy on this situation. "Guests are required to have the proper admission ticket or season-pass type for their height to gain entry into the park," he said. Just pay the difference of either $9 or $27 depending when they bought the pass , which being local is most likely gold pass, so they can enjoy the Haunt also in the Fall. Its been a height policy at KI for a while, so she needed just to pay the small difference of the upgrade and enjoy the rest of the season. I can't believe she made a huge deal from a common event at the park each year. I've seen this happen at least 10 times this year at the front gate.

Would KI ever offer this to regular season pass holders so they can attend Halloween Haunt during the Fall maybe at a reduced cost of $55? What are your thoughts?

^^ KI show times brochure has the performances listed until August 17th. Usually shows shut down except for some because of college starting for most. Hoping Playlist Live still will play weekends till Labor Day. Edit to reflect Don's response , thank you Don , you the man !

Sunday is the last show. I hope everyone had a chance to see this awesome show. I hope it returns next year. It was a guest favorite this year.

No!!! KI just added 4 more bring a friend days August 18-19-20-21. One of the worst days to visit the park and sorry to say, invites a bad element into the park. I know attendance is down from CEO statement from all parks but come on KI, this will be a mess. I enjoy these days at the park when most kids are back in school.

They will be sentenced and judged and mostly get some jail time. They were caught red handed. Good for KI to catch another criminal.

KI is a cash cow during Haunt time.

As long as there is no grilling , open flames or safety issue of a tailgating party or tables or chairs set up in the parking lanes or roadway , outside food is acceptable to eat in the parking lot area. security should be informed of this and he should have known better. If anything a formal complaint is advised so the appropriate managers can better inform staff of policies and procedures. Call the guest services line at 513-754-5700. They are great to get your information and send it directly to the area manager to be informed of this situation.

On the website KI announced dollar days 8/30-9/1. Hoping to drive in Labor Day attendance.

I will attend Dinos this Saturday night with my kids. It's a great break from the park rides and yes they tend to rush but hopefully since the park is closed after 10, no need to rush. Most people will leave after 10.

If anything, KI is a record breaking park. It will want something new or record breaking. A news article said that maybe amusement parks are reaching it's peak dealing with record breaking. Personally I would like them to have a Maverick type ride over the lake in Octoberfest area removing Viking Fury or moving it to another section of the park. Or just a total revamp section of Oktoberfest bring back some old favorite rides like Flying Shoes or The spinning barrel ride (can't remember the actual names I'm sure someone will say something). It would be nice to bring back a classic family style ride.

^ don't get me wrong, I like the trees in the area but maybe cut back the trees. I've been on it twice for ride stoppage because teens decide to grab tree branches. You can see they cut one down already this year because of the tree growth

So cool if they add LED lighting just like WindSeeker and having no trees in the area of the ride so ride ops won't have to continue to say, "don't reach for the trees!" Cars painted in blue and red and green with lights on the bottom of the cars that would be a great night ride.
