  1. This is all that remains. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I really enjoyed it. I think Cornball Express is a great coaster. The others were not terrible though. I love the selection of flats they have though. They were probably my favorite part of it. I wish KI would get a Falling Star type ride. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. No. It's not, other than the sign. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Ya that's when you find a baby sitter and have them do something fun with her like the zoo or something. Nothing wrong with just daddy/son time. When Cody and Katie were both little I had a friend that would go and help me at the park. She liked going to the park but not riding. She'd even keep Katie while I took Cody and her two boys around the park. I have to admit I am happy I don't have to worry about that now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. You should have read my posts asking about IB last week and asked if you could go. You could have also asked if we would be interested in going if you were considering going. :-p Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. It has 5 coasters, 4 of which were running. The Cornball Express was my favorite. The park is almost like stepping back into the 1950's (not that I was alive in the 1950's) and has many flat rides that I really wish were at Kings Island. I think my favorite is Falling Star and Giant Gondola Wheel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I high five them then make a comment I hope you have washed your hands. Sometimes they respond usually with a no so I simply tell them I did not either. I really don't have a problem with it though. They are kids just being kids. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Great trip report. Sometimes those short days are as good if not better than all day ones. I was listening to people in line behind us who were talking about Cedar Point yesterday (we were at Indiana Beach). I was not listening closely until he said, "(I forget which coaster) you can see Canada from it." Then paused, "and from Vortex too". So, apparently I really need to pay much more attention while riding Vortex. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. This is too funny to not share. The Giant Gondola Wheel. Two girls scared on this ride. Haha Last but not least, Melissa and I had just rode Cornball Express and went to meet Katie and Zach at Falling Star. I decided to be a falling (non) star and proved gravity does indeed work at Indiana Beach. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. May 24, 2014 Indiana Beach This was my first trip to Indiana Beach. First ride was Falling Star. Loved this flat ride. One thing I really enjoyed most about Indiana Beach is the wonderful flats and long cycles. Steel Hawg was probably my least favorite coaster. Not because the ride is bad, but I do not like the neck rest at all. Air Crow - love it! Love Cornball Express. My favorite at Indiana Beach. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. May 23, 2014 Kings Island trip. Katie, Zach and I left Greenfield after Katie got out of school. Drove over and picked up Lucas for a few hours at Kings Island. We mainly went so we could pick up Melissa so she could go to Indiana Beach with us on Saturday. The Park was packed. Lucas, Katie and I had the opportunity to see the sneak peak of the new Kings Island show "Cirque Imagine". I really like the show. It brings the variety I think Kings Island really needs. (I have to admit I still miss Ed Alonzo!) I can say I am very happy with the show. I don't want to spoil too much of the show, but there is some humor, athleticism and sheer talent. I really liked the set design. Kudos to the crew for making set changes so quick and flawless. We met up with Melanie, Melissa and Zach and headed to The Bat. Apparently a stuffed animal met it's demise along the exit to The Bat. If you weren't aware, you cannot take us any where without us acting a little silly. We then headed to Banshee. I love this ride still. I am at 50+ rides and have yet to have a bad ride. Banshee was down for a little bit, but we ran into VortexBBF and her parents. Unfortunately we did not get to hang out too long. As always, it's great seeing you in the park. I know I have said this before, but I enjoy being around the teens I have met through this site. We have a wonderful group here. We rode BBOBH then opted to head for Beast and got the last ride for the night. Got home and watched the mediocre meteor shower until about 4:00 in the morning. 13. I didn't see a photo of me?!?You DO realize that I wasn't one of the guys with the face paint, right? They just happen to look like me. I've said too much. Katie, Lucas and I all saw the show. They both really liked it as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Yes. You did not see the picture I posted of you apparently. Santa was stalking you dude. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I was not sure what I would think about it. I was happy it was not another musical review. I am pleased with the production. It's entertaining and has humor in it. The talent is really good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I have heard that as well. Looking forward to that and some different flats too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. When I looked on there I did not see it listed. Thank you so much!
  18. We are making a trip up to Indiana Beach tomorrow. Are there any discounts available? We have not been able to find any yet. I've never been and I am really looking forward to the trip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. We heard it. I won't say who we stepped away from when they started singing it - fearing lightening striking the individual. I think incorporating various things are a good thing. I would rather hear that than Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Maybe it's simply a deterrent. Random ones are far more convenient than every time. Occasional random ones keep down issues even if there is no threat today. If there was / is a viable threat and nothing was done, what kind of inconvenience would it be if something happened? What would people say if someone did something and hurt or killed someone or a group of people? It's the day and age we live in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. As far as Planet Snoopy goes - of I fits I sits. Kids or not. A group of adults rode Surf Dog without any children last night. We took over Woodstock Express and rode Flying Ace Aerial Chase with two teens. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Crowds were not terrible. They were only more crowded than I had experienced the past season or two during the week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. We made it to the park today around 10:15. It's been a bit more crowded than the past few years during the week. I was wrong, it's my sons first visit since 2007. He loved Banshee, but not a huge fan of Diamondback. More later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. BB1 possibly at KI tomorrow? At least say hello if nothing else. I will be there with my son for the first time since 2008 (he's grown, not abandoned at home as his sister and I go play at Kings Island). I know several others will be there as well. Should be a great day for a trip to the park. I guarantee you will have fun. When are you getting in town?
  25. Jonathan you should go tomorrow. I am going tomorrow. I know in years past Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays have been excellent days to go. With Banshee being so new, it's going to be interesting seeing if that changes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
