  1. Gabriel's mother was there for the unveiling. I got to hug her. My heart goes out to her and her family. The statue is beautiful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. No it was not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I really think the crew for Banshee does a great job. Not only are they fast, they are incredibly nice. The young man seating us at the end tried very hard to even recall how many people we had in our party which changed slightly a few times. This makes an already wonderful coaster better. Not that other crews are horrible, but I wish the training that has gone into the crew at Banshee would be passed on to the other crews as well. Doing so would make the whole Kings Island experience even better. 42 rides on Banshee so far, best seats IMO are still 12, 13 and 84. (Three front row seats on Friday was awesome.) thanks to someone nicer than my daughter who allowed me 84 when she was not around and even let me try 81. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I don't know what the first post said, but any number of us would be okay meeting your dad if that is what is wrong. As a mom of a teen, I know I would not let her go to a meet up alone with people I do not know. It's not so much that I do not trust her, it's I don't trust a lot of other people. Jr said it, one day you will understand. Ps, we will even put on our best behavior. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Unfortunately we did not make it to the unveiling, but had the privilege of speaking to the artist, Gavin Bruce. What a nice guy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I now have Blondie's "'Hart' of Glass" going through my head. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I am spontaneous. If it's a day we can make it we will. Sundays are the least ideal dates for us. However, we are planning on being there June 8. BB1 since you're heading this up does this mean you're participating?
  8. I wish it was Peanut themed. I like seeing the consistency in the park. I think with it sitting so close to Planet Snoopy it should not go back to a Phantom Theater type theming. I remember my son being 6-7 and terrified of that ride. A dark ride like PT back where Tomb Raider was is a better place for such a ride. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Andrew we are going Friday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Maybe Tommy the man behind the design of BBOBH. It would be funny if he was on this forum, too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I am guessing the park will be packed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Oh I know this was named after you. #Jonathan. You know you love it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. You could have been the one with stinky cheese feet instead but nooooo, you indirectly admitted the diapers lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. You're ok yourself. Haha. You are so right on this post though. I wish I started posting earlier and met people before the end of last season. It feels like I've known some of you forever. It's taken something fun and made it even better. It's been amazing seeing Stinky Feet Dragon Butt (it's a tail!) connect with people too. It's nice having extra eyes on her as we are in the park. One thing I thought was awesome was Sunday Katie was with Melissa, Melanie, Melissa's dad and Zach. Katie ended up taking a nap in the Festhaus with Melanie and Zach sitting with her. Even better - Melanie took a pic! Lol It's already opened up opportunities for us to do more than we could have done like GWL and Media Day. Honestly I would not have considered MD if it weren't for you all. Getting a tour of the Air Force Museum was awesome - the flight simulator was one of the funniest things I've ever witnessed. Meeting up away from the park has been great too. From McDonald's to Chinese restaurants to Dr Offices have been great too. Well not so much the Dr Office. Even a group came to closing night of Shrek - and she did not have a speaking part. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Getting my friend Diane to go to the park after a 10+ year hiatus on May 4th. She and I have been friends since 1979 and have had many trips to Kings Island, Kentucky Kingdom (both of us were season park holders for years), SeaWorld of Ohio, and many, many other wonderful places. 16. Perhaps since it's a sporting event, we could create gold medals and announce to those around that we would like to congratulate this person/group of people for winning the event. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Why? Because we love you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Jonathan is probably is appropriate. He was humored by his name being a # (not sure if he will admit it lol) when a picture was posted of him with a #. As far as explaining it, we love Jonathan. He's a great guy if you have not met him or do not know him. However, the group that meets up is typically the same group of people. We have seriously become more like family. So as any siblings would do we pick on each other. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. He absolutely does! Rumor has it Tim Burton will be directing a new movie, #Jonathan and the Giant Noodle. Love ya Jonathan! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I was hoping this would be unveiled later in the day. I would love for my daughter to meet the artist. I think this will be a beautiful addition for the park and for A Kid Again.
  21. Yay #Jonathan! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. My horn sound like sissified Road Runner. I've often thought upgrading to a semi automatic weapon sound would get people out of my way. (I would not really do this, it's just a thought that make me laugh.) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I was two. I am pretty sure I was at home hanging out with my parents and baby brother clueless about the one place that I now love. Happy birthday Kings Island!. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I am impressed with how much they have done. The winter was brutal. I truly cannot believe they were able to not only get an entire roller coaster built, repainted Bat, rethemed an area which looks amazing in my opinions. I really did not expect the park to open until this weekend due to what the construction crews fought against. Well done construction and maintenance crews. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
