  1. Well, they are both short and fluffy. Boo Boo is cute. Honey Boo Boo not so much. Her not being cute has more to do with behavior than appearance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Honey Boo Boo? I would rather watch Boo Boo Bear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I used to work as an auditor for a relatively large carwash. I was trained on looking for potential theft. If anyone pays attention to all the different facets within a company, theft is easily done and easily hid. There is always someone who can think more outside the box and is smarter than the system. It's so easy to steal from a cash based business. I really am surprised they said something publicly though. There is really no purpose in hiding it I suppose since most companies have a variety of things in place. It just seems a little out if the norm for a company to be in your face about it. I am sure those who steal from their employers really don't care what it does to the employers bottom line. However, the cost is passed down to the customer. If theft is rampant, it keeps employment opportunities to a minimum and raises may not be given among other things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I worked in food service for years, years ago (hallelujah). Part of it would be novelty. There seems to be a trend with food trucks. They are popping up everywhere in Indy (or so it seems). Most sell Mexican cuisine. I personally think working in a truck would suck. It could broaden food options in the park. They can rent a spot, plus a portion of commission from each vendor (perhaps). Aside from insurance and possibly some advertising which the cost could be passed on to the vendors, it's low cost for the park. Not saying it's necessarily feasible, just an idea. I have a lot of ideas, they are just not all great ideas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I so hope it will be the 19th of April. I would love to celebrate my birthday with a couple thousand of my dearest friends. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I love opening day, crowds and all. I love the excitement of the new season. Unless there are storms or tremendous amounts of rain in the forecast, I expect the park to be busy. I would almost think it could be the busiest opening day ever. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. She says on her FB page she will be one of the first riders. Perhaps we can meet her since she's so in the know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. We bought cups at the beginning of the season. I doubt we will this year. We only bought soda on a few occasions. It was really not worth it in the long run for us. The only time it was worth carrying a cup was on hot days to fill up with water. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. If it has to be disassembled during Arctic blasts, would it withstand summer heat? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Maybe his feet don't stink. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I like the dwarf named Grumpy. My mom is grumpy. Mom is 4 ft 9 so her being grumpy is comical. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I've been to Claddagh Irish Pub before and the food is delicious. Service was good, too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. How hard is it to put on the straps? I was looking on their website and think that might be a good option for both of us. I wear contacts while at any amusement park and they do dry out on occasion especially when riding coasters. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I am hoping to sign up this week. Way to go on hitting $100 already. I have a friend (I've mentioned her and her daughter previously) and it goes to families like them. I wish you could meet Amber and KK yourself. You would see instantly why you doing this really is a great thing for some truly wonderful families. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Guaranteed I would not find it funny, enjoyable or think "wow this is a great time". I've had occasions in my life where I have been belittled, put down and ridiculed. I refuse to willingly put myself into that atmosphere. I strongly prefer a much more positive environment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Easy: pic of any dinosaur in Dinosaurs Alive! Hard: pic of Beast train coming back into the station Expert: pic of Sliders from Haunt in action. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I would not go to this place. I've known people who have gone to one in Chicago. They were not impressed with the atmosphere or quality of food. They said they were over the top rude (and they knew this was to be expected at this establishment) and the food was barely mediocre. I don't see humor on being insulted while spending my hard earned money. I also think it teeters on a bully mentality. I guess some people enjoy it since they have been in business several years. I just don't get it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. The only problem we have is with Katie's glasses. We are likely going to get her contacts. Problem solved. I make sure I have pockets. I will sometimes take safety pins to secure my pockets better. I occasionally carry a small thin purse. It is big enough to fit my phone in it, ID and cash. It's a little padded to protect my screen. I have only been asked one time to remove it on any ride. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I've never been to any Disney Parks. I would hope they would play Disney music and presume they would be well themed. They have tons of music to choose from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Next season I am also going to be a photo taking machine. It will help pass the off season next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. In 2012 they played "The Reflex" by Duran Duran. I only remember this because I thoroughly embarrassed my daughter acting like her over One Direction while we were walking with a boy she liked and his family. A lot of people like '80's music though. It would be cool to incorporate even old school 50's all the way to today's music. I sure paying for the licensing to play music is expensive. I would rather have them invest in more rides than the music. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Was King Cobra the stand-up coaster? I remember seeing that on a Kings Island T.V. special once and was disappointed it wasn't there during my first visit, looked fun. King Cobra was a great ride. I did not like the restraints though. The Mantis as Cedar Point is another one that I like the ride, but really don't care for the restraints. 23. We were there July 4, 2012 and it was horribly hot. We ended up leaving around 3:00 since it was so hot. It was 98* according to that link. My car at the time did not have AC. So we went to a McDonald's half way between KI and home to cool down a bit. While I do not have pics of that day, another insanely hot day was in 2007. I wish I knew what day this was to see how hot it was. It was hot and horribly humid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I am not a teenager, but on any given day, I have 1-5 teens (typically girls) with me. I think the majority of them like current music vs themed. I have a tendency to tune it out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Did your dad have fun or did he think we were crazy? I actually loved the KIC holiday get together. It was a lot of fun. I have had flash backs to the trip there with driving with this mess of snow we have had over the past day or two. I am very happy I was not the one driving though on the way to GWL or I might have a major panic attack now. I still think if they can incorporate the thrill of icy high ways with fish tailing and / or donuts into a ride it would truly be a blast. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
