I'm still not sold on these things. They look fun but at the same time I doubt I would re ride after my first go. It would get boring fairly quick.

I think the "sure, Jan" gif comment was the best I have seen on this forum or any other in a while. Whenever Nintendo stuff starts appearing at Universal I'll be there. I finally have the desire to visit to see the place when that happens. I for one cannot stand Harry Potter so I didn't want to go back with that being their focus.

I've seen many good reports about Tempesto. The Parkfans forum for some reason hates everything about it from capacity to location. They deemed it a failure before it was even built. I always look forward to riding a new coaster I haven't been on clone or not ( hey this fits with what I said above with Tempesto but this is about another ride) but I must say you guys are making me dread my credit ride on Hurler.

I made this thread (twice because it got deleted once) to give people a general idea of what they might be looking at should they head to the park, and so people either know to avoid an overly big line or head to a line that's shorter than expected.

From what I have read they aren't using the trim on the drop so that's one reason it would seem faster.

My wife an I do not have passes this year as she is pregnant. We are targeting Father's Day as our lone visit. This is mainly to walk around and enjoy food. I know it's usually very crowded on these days, but if any of you happen to be going and want to get us in as your guests it would be greatly appreciated. Disclaimer: you don't have to spend the day with us.

It all depends, If it's an Intamin giga that's where my vote goes before anything else. If they were to work with GCI I would pick that over a B&M giga. Where is the option for hybrid? I would choose RMC over a B&M giga as well.

The best reason. We had a horrible winter after what happened in November so this news really lifted our spirits.

I don't get why it's so difficult to put them in a new category of their own considering these are hybrids.

So right after booking the trip and signing up we found out that my wife is pregnant. She is no longer participating but we decided I would still go and do Coasting for Kids ( I dropped the nice hotel and day at BGW). Now my brother and a friend of mine are going. It will be a first visit for all of us and we are all doing Coasting for Kids.

That is true. I don't mind waiting in long lines at Cedar Point because I haven't been there as much and can't just go on a weekday randomly.

That's another one I am just not willing to wait for. Being at Kings Island so much has turned me into a snob apparently. Firehawk and it's line can go away.

I would never wait that long again for that ride. If it isn't a 2 or 3 cycle wait I don't wait for it.

I'd prefer them to not install the theming in the first place if they don't plan on using it past the first year.

Lifetime ban all involved and move on.

If they are going to do that I'd like to see them go with one that stays close to the ground like Furious Baco is. That ride looks fun and mainly because it is close to the ground the whole time. Part of the reason I'm not that big of a fan of Carowinds is the overwhelming amount of B&M coasters. They were definitely fun but I like some diversity.
