I heard the same comments when Cedar Point had issues with Intamins yet they continued. Just because one project failed doesn't mean that company will be shunned.

I am sick of hearing about this movie and cannot wait for the hype to die off.

I think this is really good for the first weeks of opening a ride. Id actually take it a bit further and as people start lining up at the gates hand out the passes. That way you don't have people running and trying to push their way up before making it in.

Alright. I would like to make my first attempt at guessing the type of coaster this will be. I don't think it will be a wood coaster based on the footers. I think it will be a Mack or an Intamin launch coaster. I'm thinking something like Helix or Cheetah Hunt. Before anyone says well they wouldn't work with Intamin because of PP you don't know that. The failure of PP could lead to Intamin offering a cheaper rate on something else to go along with a bunch of other factors. I also really don't think it will be B&M.

Yeah I didn't really think too much into that picture. I saw people speculating the splash down but for me it just looks like the way the wood flows with whatever filter is used for the picture.

From what I've been reading the footers point to a steel coaster of some sort and it will interact with Voyage by crossing it.

I lived 45 minutes away when I worked there. I loved working there though I would always mac out my time I could work. I ended up being pretty good on the mic while working there. My usual thing to get the attention of people passing by was the phrase from The Goonies " Hey you guys!....."

When I applied way back when for the one year I worked there it was interesting. I went to one of their job fairs in the spring. I wanted to work rides but settled for applying for games when that wasn't left. I think my only options at the time were games, janitorial, and food. They took me for a quick interview with someone then told me to wait to see another person who would do a full on interview. That main interview was odd to me. This is almost exactly how it went. Interviewer: What made you want to work in games? - I wasn't able to apply for rides Interviewer: Are you familiar with the park and games? - very much so, in fact I've won just about everyone except the ring toss game. Interviewer: Make a pitch that would get me to come play your game if I was to be walking by. - uh... ummm.... come play my game it will be fun... I guess. Interviewer: well if it were me I wouldn't stop you have to be more excited and confident, can you do that? -Sure Interviewer: you're hired. Training starts on this day (whatever day it was). We will see you then. I remember leaving and being happy but also confused as to why in the world they hired me when I sucked so bad in the interview.

I worked a partial day during that festival the year I worked at Kings Island. I then left and didn't come back until it was over.

Well I'm glad I had no plans of going the next couple of weekends.

The pride day I ended up at while at Cedar Point was veey crowded. I think that was in 07.

Carowinds?

Yesterday was the third time I've gone to one. It also was not the most crowded that goes to whatever year I went when it was bring a friend free. I had a lot of fun yesterday but we stayed in the water park. I don't mind the crowds when I am at the water park. I did notice the quality of people didn't seem to be the best. There was also a lot of people smoking wherever they pleased.

I know of at least one frontman for a band that works Knotts every season for their haunt.

Some of my favorite memories as a kid involved going back to the car and eating our lunch we packed.

Why didn't you fix it for us?
