I wouldn't go as far as saying worst waste of space. I think it is a good intermediate coaster for beginners. Although, that area would be really good for a B&M Flyer. There's lots of terrain that could be utilized.

A lot of people think The Italian Job is a coaster. When I read the description, I thought of an indoor ride.

I used to go by this old route through Ohio. Can't remember which way I came in, but the first thing I always saw was the Eiffel Tower from a distance. Now, the new way is quicker and it's just like your suddenly there. I do miss seeing the Eiffel Tower first thing. I knew when I saw the tower, we(my family) were there, and a great day was ahead of me.

How many years will it take to correct the problems? Or, will all problems ever be corrected? I've been thinking the same thing about TTD.

What's wrong with Tomb Raider? Reliability.
-
Maybe I should do the same. When you don't expect anything, you tend to get surprised. With the explosion of the internet and fan sites like these, it seems people expect more from their parks than they ever have. And, additions to their parks more frequently.

Didn't know it was down. Unless it is something major, it probably won't take long.

Nice Trip Report. I enjoyed being with my neice when she got her first coaster laps in. Anyway, I have found that on SOB, if you ride in the middle row of any car, it is a little smoother. I think it is because you are not sitting directly over the wheels. I put this to the test in June and it seemed to work. I wonder why the Wild Thornberry's was closed?

I can't believe anyone would say FOF or Vortex. Very rough rides. I voted for Rugrats Runaway Reptar. It would have to be the smoothest, I would think. Or Top Gun.

From Huntington, WV. I go 52W(Oh) to 23N (Shortcut right after New Boston) 23N to 32W 32W to 270(I think) 270 to 71N.

Someone pointed out to me that MSN basically released the same one last year with just a few changes.
-
I won't be able to do it this year. But, next year, my brother and I are planning a trip that would include PKD, BGW, and a couple of days at Virginia Beach. I am excited to finally be visiting more amusement parks and riding their coasters. I have heard that Alpengeist is off the hook. Have you been to PKD? If so, how is Hypersonic and Volcano? Those are the two I am looking most forward to riding.

So, does Big Bad Wolf serve the same purpose as the others? I have heard that it is more intense than most of them. I think TG is a good coaster that has medium intensity. I found nothing intense about Iron Dragon. The best part is the last 15 seconds over the water.

I would like to see a giant wheel or one like they have at Astroland in New York where some of the cars move around. Although, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if the Zodiac returned...that ride used to terrify me. Probably still would. Something about that hanging feeling I don't like. You can put me on a 400ft coaster but you'll have to coax me to get on a ferris wheel, a skyline ride, or something like Drop Zone.

Thanks...interesting pics. The infamous Bat...sure wish that layout would have been used for TG's layout. I mean, with the obvious banking problems fixed. TG is just too short.

Top 10 Amusement Parks How is it that MSN has dissed PKI like this? Surely, PKI should be in place of Carowinds. And, Disney World not even mentioned? Oh, I see. It was done by citysearch editors. Probably not accurate at all.
-
Great report! Did you get the pics back with The Bat remnants? I would like to see this as I have looked before and found nothing.
-
I wish PKI would do something for the kids I mean they like to have fun too.I went to FearFest last year and I am never going again. I hope you are referring only to Fearfest. There is plenty for kids to do with the number 1 ranked kids' area.

I love the on-ride photos. I have a collection going. I need one of The Beast to complete what I want(have one of The Beast, but with an ex-gf in it. Will never do that again). Middle of the week is a great idea. I went on aThursday last year and got there at 10a. I had rode every major coaster by noon. And, to top off the day, I got in about 16-18 roller coaster laps for the day. Pretty good by my standards. All the advice and info Boddah gave is right on the money.

Topple Towers are fun looking, and what a better event to name one after than 9:11? No, he said event...not movie.

32...will be 33 this Friday July 16th. No depends but plenty of farting. Funny how that changes over a lifetime. Been going to KI since nearly its' opening. I can remember the days of long waits for The Racers and before one was placed backwards. I remember the opening of The Beast and Bat and Screamin' Demon(my first looper and backwards trip). I plan on riding coasters until I am physically not capable any more.
-
And, just how is this a new attraction? You're probably right Jake.
-
I can't believe someone even suggested that Boddah. Sounds like they are really showing their age. I don't know about worst movie...but what about paramount produced shows. I got one for ya...Judge Judy the Ride.
-
Thanks, Jake. He was my hero...not some football player or musician or actor.

You are correct, RollerCoasterUSA.
