It had to be a correct step. From what I have read (and this is not necessarily true), Boomerang Bay was a hit and helped to increase attendance.

The funniest thing I have seen was this year, although it did not happen in line. I was coming back from the hotel after a good downpour of rain. My sister, I, my niece and her friend were walking on International Street when I saw an employee sweeping up a squashed frog. Don't know if it was really funny, but it was something I had never seen.

It also said in the concepts not to take into account the artist renderings. They wanted you to imagine the ride without any preconceptions about what it would look like. So, instead of drawing a new queue and inside, they just used the one already available. I'm not saying that PKI wouldn't re-theme FOF, but you can't assume that it is just a re-theme and not a new installation at another park. Only time will tell.

I think that they are on their way out the door. As far as Scooby Doo goes, if they get rid of HB Land, how will they handle Scooby? He's not a Nick character and you have two rides named after him.

I've never been crushed by a lap bar on Racer, so I cannot relate. However, it was the first coaster I was ever afraid to ride. My mother used to bribe me with a dollar to ride it. But, I always loved it in the end.

Those rumors came from a concept drawing. Some people. Anyway, I think maybe they are considering the Tomb Raider ride and MTV Soundwave for other Paramount Parks. It could be that they will re-theme FOF, but I like it the way it is. Here's my new concept. Based on Titanic...it's a one time thing. Basically, they drown you and then complain when you don't renew your season pass for next year. Honestly, would would make a ride based on a disaster? Truly tasteless.

I think it is hard to gauge the size of that thing. Looks kinda big next to that tree. If it is a basketball....Ahhhh...sweet revenge.

I like the concept of the MTV Soundwave. But, PKI already has something like this, just without the music.

If you read the survey, it says not to take aritst renderings too seriously. It told you to base your opinions on what you thought the ride would look like by the description, not the artist renderings. They may have just used the FOF building as an example, not necessarily giving a clue to the re-theming of FOF.

I like the idea of the MTV soundwave. Sounds like the Rock-n-Roller Coaster, which I think would be unique to the midwest.

Now I have heard a logical reason. But, a hotel room doesn't necessarily have to be shared by many. At least, no more than are sharing an RV.

I think we scared my niece's friend off of the coasters from the beginning. I don't think she had been on too many coasters and we started off with FOF. I think a combination of the speed and darkness scared the life out of her. But, at the end of the night, she did ride The Racers and seemed to like them. That's fine about the PA system. I wouldn't care if they only sent out an electronic message. Can you imagine if they did page people over the PA? You would hear something all day long. That would be really annoying.

Yes, just like people have stated over and over that they will not renew their season passes. Anyway, I still haven't heard a logical reason.

Not to bust on you Green Ghost, but I can barely read your posts. Some puctuation would be nice. If you plan on sending a petition to Paramount, I would advise using punctuation if you expect them to take you seriously. I hate to see the HB characters go, but Nick is in. HB is out. Not to say that all kids love Nick characters and none love HB characters, but until these movies become reality, you probably won't see them return.

Sorry, but I think it is a little silly to say you won't buy a season pass due to the campground closing. Is it really that important? I live three hours away and I usually drive back or stay nearby at a hotel for a reasonable price. I know that it is not the same as camping, but still, I just don't see a reason not to buy a pass.

Why has sign construction taken so long? It seems Italian Job will be up before the sign is. I was under the impression that the sign would be up towards the end of July.

I think that they also have a Rotor and Bayern Curve. Can't be sure though. I like the idea of a set time. And, even though I am not or have never been an employee, I wouldn't like staying until 1 or 2 am when your day has already been too long.
