  1. Nice report. I like seeing the Haunt stuff pop up around the park.
  2. Creepy site. I'm too scared to go now.
  3. ^ Disagree. There's a difference between bullying and self defense. Now if he beat him up and then kept going after the bully because now he was the "top dog"; that would be no better. Knocking the bully down after taking abuse over and over and over again is no where near the same thing as being a bully.
  4. My dad's Yugo was a pretty bad ride.
  5. Pocahontas = $346,079,773 Worldwide Avatar = $2,782,275,172 Worldwide Pretty sure that factored into their decision.
  6. So what I'm gathering here is that we need a snack line fast pass. Make it so!
  7. I like their puppies too. Their puppies and fries are really the only sides I get there. I wonder if all City BBQ's have Graeter's next to them. Both of the ones I go to do as well.
  8. Have to heartily disagree there unless you're visiting a City BBQ that's of lower quality than the 2 I frequent (Centerville and Beavercreek). I've been smoking my own meats for a couple years now, but still have not gotten mine to be close to the flavor of City BBQ. Now, I'm no expert and have not been across the country to other joints, but I know what tastes good to me. I know their meats have smoke rings (I've seen them....or else that pink is undercooked meat, but we all know it's the smoke). Sauce doesn't concern me. If it's good BBQ you shouldn't need sauce, which is what I find at City BBQ. And the sides...again, those don't seem to flavor the pulled pork that I eat. My little brother, on the other hand, has been all over the country and has had BBQ everywhere (he's a storm chaser). He swears by City BBQ's pulled pork (as do I); though he says his favorite ribs are in a place out in Oklahoma. Again, subjective, but I know bad BBQ: Oink-a-doodle-Moo's comes straight to mind. There was a BBQ place around the corner from me in Kettering that boiled their meats, added smoke flavor and called it BBQ (gross). That place went out of business last year. I've heard that Company 7 up in Englewood is pretty good, but haven't made it up there yet. Anyway, I'm just stating the case that when it comes to City BBQ, I'm not going to back down. The place is gold for true BBQ.
  9. City BBQ makes my favorite pulled pork sandwich. So good.
  10. For some reason, I can't read this topic. Hopefully it's not too awesome.
  11. Great report so far. Looking forward to the rest.
  12. Wait....Is this because all those people died on SOB that one time when I was at the park and I saw it happen?
  13. On International Street alone you should be able to write quite a bit. The different buildings along IS are designed after common international structural influences. You can see building designs from France, Spain, Germany, Sweeden and Italy. Then, of course, you can comment on the general design and layout of the park. How do the paths branch out to help with crowds and bottle-necking? Perhaps, if it's permitted, comment on areas where a design modification to the park layout might improve things, like how X-Base and Action Zone are both "dead ends" and do not allow and easy "flow" for crowds.
  14. I feel bad for the bird. It's flying around, minding its own business; thinking about what the wife might be cooking up for dinner tonight back at the nest. Probably worm again. He's sick and tired of worm. But he has to make due. She's been sitting on those eggs for weeks so she can't go out for anything exotic like bread crumbs. Mmm...bread crumbs... ...then BAM!!! Some random kid's face comes flying out of nowhere and hits him. He doesn't expect to see kid-faces way up where he is. Rough scary life.
  15. Viking Fury is the hidden gem of Kings Island.
  16. I thought Kings Island was famous for the overabundance of giant HUSS rides.
  17. ^I hear that. Who wants to ride stuff made out of wood anyway? That's like a fire hazard.
  18. So you're saying that we have racing wave pools? I never thought of it that way.
  19. I think this would be pretty perfect: Or this one:
  20. Yeah, the book is great. Actually both it and Lost World were great. I highly prefer the Lost World book to the movie, but I'm not sure about Jurassic Park. The book is much darker.
  21. Come on, that couldn't happen. Don't believe everything you see in the movies.
  22. Someone really needs to get a real Jurassic Park built. That thing would be a goldmine.
  23. Yes, I saw a band-aid floating in the new wave pool this year on my one trip to SS. Preeeeeetty nasty.
