I actually thought that was one of the better ideas. Especially if you go with kids; you'd think that the Great Pumpkin had just appeared when they wheel out those carts with the light up toys and glow necklaces. The dollar store sells all that stuff, so you can get a couple things, then when they carts come out just give the kids your own cheap stuff and you'll avoid all the nagging to buy something.

To add to this, why can't you throw loose articles on rides?

Seriously, it's all about the post count. The more you post, the more new "handles" you get. But don't post just to get the change. Post because you have something to say.

Now my famous screenshot is worthless!!! I was going to sell it on eBay.

I've got a nice little collection of some good Halloween and/or Halloween-like music I play outside my house while getting it spruced up on Beggars Night (before I unleash my custom mix of sounds and music). I can PM some of them over if you'd like. I'm sure you probably have most of them, but I might have a few that are new to you.

Maybe the line could go into the Carousel and people can relax on horses as they wait.

That makes sense to me, since Worksite won't be there this year. That leaves that path wide open, and if the carousel is closed, they can direct the line back past it towards the Tower. Won't that risk running the line into the Cemetery Drive line?

I'm not sure. Last season was the first time I went on a Friday, but it was closer to the end of October and didn't seem much different than a Saturday to me. But I've heard that if you go one one of the early weekends on a Friday; it's almost a walk-on evening. I'm going to be going to some early Fridays to find out for myself this year.

I got mine yesterday as well.

In my experience; I haven't been able to do all haunts on one Saturday. Granted, we had 1 less hour before AND we rode some rides as well. But usually on Saturday nights, some Haunt lines are over an hour long and with so many haunts to do; it's really hard to get them all in.

I think Goofy is the smartest dog alive, according to Disney. He's like a leap in the evolutionary chain. The Missing Link, if you will. He then fathered Max who is much smarter. He's the beginning of a new wave of super dogs who will one day replace humans and eliminate all cats.

Thanks guys. Not much of a trip report as far as wait times and ride experiences. I wanted to document a child's first trip and also talk a little about Laura's dad's final year. Still not sure whether we'll be trying to have kids or not, so I have to live vicariously through friends and family for now.
