  1. Hear hear! I love to ride the Wildcat and hardly ever do because the line is usually quite long when I go to the park. Demon Drop, on the other hand, I haven't ridden since the first time I tried it back in '96. So I'm not sure about the line situation, but I'd assume it's at least partially due to the low capacity of the ride.
  2. My sister-in-law's sister and husband got kicked out in 2008 for assaulting an officer, but it all stemmed from smoking in line. The story, as I've heard it, is that they were in line for either Firehawk or Italian Job (can't remember exactly which) but they were smoking in line and some people complained and a staff member told them to put it out. They refused and got unruly, cussing and causing a scene ("I'm allowed to smoke, it's a free country...blah blah..*hack* *cough* *choke* *expletive*...blah blah!") and Mason police were brought in to escort them out and the wife was cussing at them and hit one and then her husband got in and pushed one so they were handcuffed and taken to cool off in the jail. All that over smoking. I seriously can't understand how people can go so overboard over putting a little puff stick in their mouth. I mean, I know it's an addiction, but to go nuts because you can't do it in a crowded line with people having to inhale it is just stupid. Of course, they still hold to it that they were the ones who were wronged and Kings Island is a bad place.
  3. Cool reports. I just got back from my Honeymoon yesterday and I believe we were at Disney around the same days as you. My report will most likely be epic with the amount of pictures we took. It was a great time. We took a cruise afterwards and it had no chance to live up to what we experienced at Disney.
  4. For Bengals games park in the hotel parking lot downtown (forget which one, but has the $1 parking sign even though it's only $1 for like 2 hours these days). It's a bit of a walk, but for the first game vs. Denver we only paid $3. Plus, the visiting team usually stays in the hotel, so when you leave the lobby, you may be able to get an autograph.
  5. I'll be going to WDW in November on my honeymoon, but we're staying at a resort and will most just use their transportation to everything. I have heard of one way to cheat the Disney system. If you park at Downtown Disney (for free) you can hop on one of their resort buses to any resort and then get a free ride to the parks either via bus, boat or monorail. I believe they used to have people present their resort ID's to get on the buses, but have gotten lazy on that.
  6. I still always wonder what happened to the Smurfs in HB-Land. Either from the ride or on the benches. I'd be interested in buying one of those.
  7. Yeeeeeah, I totally wouldn't be able to do that. I got freaked out just watching the scene in the Decent when the girl was stuck in the tight space. I cannot handle claustrophobic areas. If I was the size of a Smurf, I would do it.
  8. You could put a couple of chopped off arms on the front of the tunnels for the final helix so that everyone keeps their hands down.
  9. Those are some great suggestions, alluna. Really like the idea of a choose your own adventure haunt. Also like having a random zombie rampage.
  10. How about they bring back the smurf ride but make them little zombie smurfs?
  11. Is it okay if I do my boxing training in the slaughter house like Rocky?
  12. They did that in Phantom Theater during one of the first years of FearFest. Do it again!
  13. I like a lot of Stalker Mole's ideas, especially about the side-show wanderers. Like a fire breather and a knife juggler or something. I see the signs in Coney Maul and think, 'why are they only signs?' I'd like to incorporate some of Cedar Point's ideas. The biggest would be their Scare Zones. I know that KI had what they considered Scare Zones (and some would say the whole park is one, though it's not nearly as concentrated.) Perhaps make the area between the Crypt and the Diamondback entrance a Scare zone with a huge concentration of fog, strobes and 30 or more scareactors. No lines to walk through, it's like an on-going Haunt. You could still have Tombstone Territory in there as well, you just have to go through that open Haunt to get to the train Haunt. Or make the path between the Tower and the bathrooms by The Beast entrance (Where corn Stalkers once was) a Scare Zone, though I like the above idea better since it is longer. I'd like there to be a magic show. I like shows, but they all don't have to be centered around music. I also LOVED Cedar Point's scary ghost stories which had actors telling Edgar Allen Poe stories in a small intimate setting. KI could do something like that in an area (I would say in the old lazer tag building but it's gone now) or somewhere out in the park with a small bonfire. People could gather around and hear a great story teller give them a ghost story. I'd also put a Haunt in Scoobydoo's Haunted Castle. You could put a few people in every other car and get some actors to jump out at them in scenes or put some good scary animatronics in there. And if SOB isn't being used, I'd put a Haunted trail through the base of the supports for it. The story would be focused around the skeleton of an abandoned dangerous ride that's haunted by the ghosts of its victims.
  14. Well...he IS the KingsIslandMaster. We're all just the apprentices to his mastery of Kings Island.
  15. ^LOL Good theory. I'll have to watch it again to see if it stands up.
  16. Maybe they'll put a tennis court in there as well!
  17. Aww, I set it to record at 3:30 and it was already into it at that point so I missed the beginning. Yea, Shaggy, I noticed it was raining at the end where (spoiler alert!) he finally got the sketches to the suits as they were leaving. Security was really lacking back then with the girls able to just run through the Antique Cars while they were driving, and Alice standing on that Barrel ride as it started going. LOL, that was pretty funny.
  18. I didn't find Carnevil scary at all, but it was definitely the most fun. The glasses make everything so crazy in there. The paint, the bubbles and the spinning tunnel at the end is the best.
  19. Sorry, I forgot to take my camera but not sure if I would have taken it out there. It was pretty muggy and wet last night.
