I'm too worried about how I'm going to make it over the hill on my roller bowler game right now.

^ Good thinking. It's all a conspiracy to get my dough. I am easily startled while playing and I'll keep feeding my quarters until I win, so I'll need to time out my game in between the roar of the coaster. But then I'll be rushing my roller bowler rolls to get into a rhythm before the next train comes. This is going to be a stressful season of roller bowling. I may need to find another game.

I have my doubts that they will invest in any more theming for The Crypt, unless they plan to store some Halloween Haunt decorations below the ride; I think it is what it is.

I think everyone expects that one piece that's on the ground between the splashdown and brake will be the final one.

That final helix is going to mess with my concentration when I'm playing the roller bowler. Why didn't they think of that when they built it?

I'm sure everyone who got tickets is going and so many people have already asked, but I'll take 1 or 2 tickets off someone if they find out they can't go.

And if they're not posted as soon as possible...then.......well....we'll just have to wait.

The renders of the ride show big rocks in the splashdown. Hopefully that's still in the plans.

My brother can vouch for that. He's great at forecasting (even turned in a report this year to the University of Oklahoma on how to predict previously unpredictable tornado's which is getting a lot of attention). He never trusts the guys on the TV as they're normally just reading what they've seen quoted elsewhere. Also, look for my bro on his new show 'Tornado Road' on NBC this summer. (Shameless plug)

Well yeah, Knotts started out with a ghost town/old west theme around 1940. Like I said, I'm not an expert but I swear they have advertised as the first theme park.

A lot of that looks correct to me, but I'm still not sure about the label "first theme park". I thought Knotts Berry Farm has claimed to be first.

It would be great if the construction crew working on DB could do like RCT and just hit a button and BAM! you got a station built.

I know we had a big snow last year because it started the day I bought my house and was a pretty good one. My first home buying experience: a lot of shoveling.

Awesome TR. Anyone remember ShowBiz Pizza? Last month's Spin magazine had a story about a guy who got the robots for the Showbiz stage show and reprogrammed them to perform with current music. I think they have Youtube videos for it, but I haven't looked for them yet.

As seen above, every month this year had some spectacular event! What month was the best out of the 08' season? For me it was October because of the Haunt, but August was pretty big too. Did the word, "Nostalgia" Have its best year ever? Oh yeah. Hopefully they'll continue it. What roller coaster in your opinion had its best year ever? What thrill ride? The Racers with the change to direction. The Crypt was great with the change of thrills over theme. Did Halloween Haunt have its best year ever? I wouldn't say it was the best year ever, but it was pretty good. Pretty good is great though, in my book. What restaurant had the best food? I only eat LaRosa's so the one by The Beast is the best. What crew/area was best? Beast Crew! The Crypt could be considered the new ride this year, did it have its best year ever? Oh yeah, see above. What new show in 2008 was the best in your opinion? The Brady Bunch Show, since it was the only one I saw. What was the best thing that happened this year at Kings Island? The announcement of Diamondback What change from 2007 to 2008 was the best? The Crypt. Did Kings Island Central have its best year ever? Oh yeah, the excitement of Diamondback created tons of topics and discussions. I even came out of my lurking cave to join in and haven't stopped. Was 2008 Kings Islands Best Year Ever? What about 2009 do you look most forward to? It's the best year in a while, that's for sure. Of course, I'm extremely excited about Diamondback for 2009, as is everyone else.
