  1. Coasterstock tickets will need to be purchased online.
  2. Registration and ticket sales will end April 30 at midnight.
  3. Individuals that purchase Coasterstock tickets will need to present an active, valid membership card from the coaster club/organization they selected on the registration form. Now is the time to upgrade or join a coaster club/organization to ensure your membership card is in your hands by the date of the event.
  4. An off-season tour is something we're considering.
  5. With all due respect to Mr.Helbig, he is a PR guy, not maintenance. Unless he has done said maintenance job, there's no way he can honestly answer your questions. Each car is from the rides is stripped down to every last nut and bolt. It's in the neighborhood of 6,500 parts for all of the coasters combined. Diamondback alone has more than 1,600 parts checked annually. Everything that you can imagine is disassembled and looked at and then rebuilt over the winter. A ride like Backlot Stunt Coaster will take 4-1/2 months to do the nine cars on it. Firehawk is up there as one of the hardest trains to work on. A lot of very detailed work with all of the coasters and other ride vehicles.
  6. With addition of a live band, the new show in the Showplace Theatre will be on par with the pop and country shows that were featured in the 70's and 80's in that location. Cirque Image, which often performed to SRO crowds, will return for its second season in the Kings Island Theater.
  7. Diamondback is in the neighborhood of where it was last year in the number of rides given through the same number of operating dates.
  8. Banshee should give its 2 millionth ride the last weekend of the season. It has been a great year for ride milestones and anniversaries.
  9. I went to Fantasy Farm 2-3 times a year prior to Kings Island opening. It was a fun time, something my family and I always looked forward to.
  10. Perhaps one can be arranged on Friday, October 10.
  11. The all-you-care-to-eat wings are the traditional bone-in wings.
  12. How many chicken wings can you eat and still handle seven stomach-churning inversions on the Banshee roller coaster? If you ever wanted to know the answer to that question, Kings Island can help you figure it out. Kings Island is offering a $14.99 (plus tax) all-you-care-to-eat wing deal every Friday night at Halloween Haunt in the Reds Hall of Fame Grille from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. through November 1. In addition to all the jumbo wings you care to eat, the menu for this deal also includes tossed Caesar salad, fries, pickle chips, fresh celery and dipping sauces. Park admission to Halloween Haunt is required.
  13. More details to come, but an exclusive opportunity for KIC members to enjoy a lights on tour of three of the park's Halloween Haunt mazes will be available Saturday, November 1.
  14. Banshee is on pace to give the most rides ever for a new attraction at Kings Island.
  15. A. Yes. Someone knows.B. Welcome to KIC! It has been said that Hot Blooded is being replaced by Skeleton Key, about which little is known. Cryptic O'Terpy...understanding is key -- Look out for Old Blue's Clues. ----"I See Blue"----- Hush! This is a grave matter!
  16. It is noted that Fast Lane Plus passes are limited in quantify, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  17. How do you know there was no donation? Do you have access to the master list?
  18. This is about giving our renewing season passholders what they've been asking for: something for renewing since there is not a price break in the fall between new and renewal. We're also going to be giving our guests that renew their season pass before November 2 something else they've been asking for with an exclusive preview night before the park opens for the 2015 season.
  19. Last year season passes went on sale August 30.
  20. The last day for Cirque Imagine is August 17. The show schedule changes after Sunday for the other shows.
  21. On Saturday, August 9, Kings Island will attempt to surpass the world record for the most people applying sunscreen simultaneously to help raise awareness and money for the fight against cancers affecting men, women and children. The Guinness Book of Records shows the current record at 1,822 people applying sunscreen simultaneously. That was achieved by the Ann’s Hope Foundation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 18, 2014. The Kings Island initiative is part of its Kicks Cancer campaign to raise awareness for Melanoma Know More and will take place at 12:00 p.m. in the Showplace Theatre on International Street. Cincinnati Reds all-star third baseman Todd Frazier will join park visitors in the record-breaking attempt. Melanoma Know More is striving to reduce the impact of melanoma through awareness, education, support of medical research and assistance to persons affected by melanoma.
  22. No matter when an event might be scheduled there are going to be conflicts, whether it's an event at another park, a coaster club conference. charity riding event, or park operating hours (difficult to offer ERT on days the park closes at midnight).
