  1. If this coaster is open in time for my birthday in late March, might make a good trip of it.
  2. The only barometer I know to go off of is attendance, since I don't think CF breaks down park-by-park in financials. And if we only went by attendance, it's 1. Knott's Berry Farm (but it's not seasonal) 2. Canada's Wonderland 3. Cedar Point 4. Kings Island and the rest of the CF parks aren't in the top 20.
  3. Cedar Point is obviously #1. What's #2-4? #1. Cedar Point #2-4: Canada's Wonderland, Kings Island, Carowinds?
  4. I have found a ton at yard sales and thrift stores around here too. So much so, I started a blog for some of the stuff I find. If you want to check it out: http://www.coasterllectables.com It's pretty neat.
  5. The newer the ride, the better your chances in general. Ride manufacturers have made restraints more forgiving over the years.
  6. I wanted to do this list but the top three are extremely hard to choose between. I can't pick a #1.
  7. : I want to ride your new roller coaster a lot. Thanks, westcoaster
  8. I have many fond memories of Lagoon's Enterprise, so that would be my personal vote of a ride to make a return to KI. Also seems to be a ride that is featured at many other CF parks, which I think increases the likelihood. But who knows.
  9. You're going to be able to experience Centurvalravion™ before it opens in 2016 with the new Cedar Point© VR app! Available only from Cedar Fair. Experience all of the exciting twists and turns of Centurvalravion™ like never before! Download the app today!
  10. Lightning Rod! First Launched Wooden Coaster! World's Fastest Wooden Roller Coaster! Video shows it's clearly RMC i-Box. March 2016!
  11. I would absolutely die of happiness if Tumble Bug somehow made its way to Kings Island. That would be amazing, especially if it ended up in Coney Mall. And I would like Conneaut to make it, so it would make me very happy to see them make a big step in the right direction. Someone get in contact with Cedar Fair, stat! The idea of Cedar Fair folks wandering Europe, knocking on various parks' administrations' doors and asking for their old rides seems a little like an enthusiast's imagination getting away from them, but the source seems credible. If this is actually happening, I so hope it's successful. If it works, this could be one of my favorite moves any park/park chain has ever made. It's definitely happening. Bryan Edwards at Cedar Point tweeted the article.
  12. Probably nothing but I got this today in my email.
  13. Saw this on the Passholder Exclusives page:
  14. http://www.latimes.com/travel/themeparks/la-trb-cedar-fair-flat-rides-20150806-story.html#page=1 Hmmmmmmmmmmm...
  15. They used to paint it white almost every season but stopped doing so because they replace a section's lumber once a year and wanted it to have its classic look back. Roller Coaster's original color was brown. Lagoon seems very proud of the ride so I think it's safe under its current management. Oh, I almost forgot. It's a great ride.
  16. Seeing a lot of chatter about the bins on Banshee and whether or not Diamondback should be next, I took to Twitter to see if any chatter has been going on about it. I wonder what most people think. Do they appreciate the quicker lines at Banshee or paying for lockers? Do people even realize part of Banshee's shorter lines is its increased capacity because of no bins? I try not to bring what can't fit in my pockets personally, but I know that's difficult for some.
  17. Curious, Terp. If SeaWorld doesn't turn around, SIX or FUN? ...Disney?
  18. Ah. Looks like that puny AAA discount will be what I pay. No big deal. Worth asking. Thanks for your help. Edit: I just went to their site and if I order them online from Holiday World directly, I save a penny off the AAA price. ONE PENNY! Doesn't even buy a Tootsie Roll.
