  1. So I see on the plan, at the edge appears to be water - the edge to the reservoir, I'm guessing? If so, this thing isn't very big at all. Is it possible this could be some kind of flume ride and not a coaster?
  2. It's possible. KI has to know that people are searching for the permits at city hall. Is it illegal to submit a false plan?
  3. It's not even that. It's just that at this point, we're likely not getting a giga until the 50th anniversary, at the earliest. 2022. Ugh.
  4. So....what is it? Hard to get a sense of scale on this. I don't see a lift hill. I'm not experienced with blueprints for coasters, but this doesn't look like any kind of coaster I've ever seen. I guess at this point, it's safe to say it's not a giga, if that's the plan. Bah humbug.
  5. Can someone tell me why photos posted by some just show up as dots? When I click on the photos, they never load. Weird. Edit: Added photo for better explanation.
  6. Peace out. And by the way, the Indiana Hoosiers and Tom Crean suck.
  7. It makes me quite sad to see old pictures of KCKC, and knowing a vacant building (and a huge lack of trees) currently occupy that spot.
  8. KCKC was much better than RFYLCB. In my opinion, anyway.
  9. It doesn't make sense for the park, but I'd be more than okay with it. Less travel time between my two favorite steel coasters in the park.
  10. Honestly, Diamondback's placement is messy if you ask me. Placed somewhat in Planet Snoopy, right in the middle of the park. Just seems totally out of place. But it works.
  11. It isn't always about the competition but more about the market.Lets take a look at KI for example.Kings Island is arguably the #2 park for CF and thus will be a prime location for investment. KI is within 3 hours of Cincinnati,Columbus,Louisville, and Indianapolis which give it 4 major cities that it draws people from. Its main competition lies in Cedar Point or Holiday World, one is another CF park and the other is a small family owned park that rarely builds rollercoasters. MA's draw size is noticeably smaller if you consider that Chicago has SFGAM and Detroit is more likely to go to CP. This causes decreased attendance which means there is less reason to invest in the park because people aren't showing up. MA is just poorly placed and will never get a lot of love simply because the ROI isn't there. Don't forget Dayton and Lexington. Not huge cities, but significant populations nonetheless.
  12. What's under the bridge now? Survey markers. I think it's one of those "Nevermind the survey markers. Nothing to see here" type of thing.
  13. Do the trains have anything wooden on them? I know that quite a few of you are coveting a woodie.
  14. I love that they're targeting the people in this thread. I'd be interested to see how much membership increases because of little tweets like this..
  15. Rougher than Vortex for me: The Racer (which should be expected as a 70s woodie) and Adventure Express. That's pretty much it, for me anyway.
  16. I used to love Vortex. It was my first "big" coaster as a kid, not including The Racer. Now, my brain feels like Jello after riding it.
  17. The Bat got a paint job when Banshee was constructed. Let's hope that trend continues with Diamondback.
  18. I understand that. But the guy I quoted is still nothing more than a ridiculous fanboy. He has shown that time and time again in his posts. He stated Millenium Force was better than Fury. And those of us that have experienced both, laughed hysterically.
  19. Gatekeeper is as bland as (if not more so than) Millennium Force. The guy is nothing more than a CP fanboy.
