  1. Wouldn't woodies or RMCs have way more footings than a steel coaster? While there are quite a few survey markers, I'd expect way more if this was a wooden coaster.
  2. So what's a W2? Launched wing coaster? What did the label for Thunderbird say?
  3. I agree, I'd say it still has to be labeled, even before it's painted.
  4. I guess I just find it hard to fathom someone would order a flat, matte gray coaster. Yuck.
  5. If anything, it's probably a coat of primer or something. Look at the same gray color on the yellow piece next to it, on the portion that attaches to the support.
  6. Not sure if anyone really needs this, but linking it for those interested. Mason, OH's public records policy: http://www.imaginemason.org/PDFs/Public-Records-Policy_2007-2009.pdf
  7. MF is by far better, no comparison. Chain lift...lol You're entitled to your opinion, but Fury is taller, faster and has much better elements. And there's a reason why some people here refer to it as Millenium Forceless. It's boring.
  8. Kings Island also has lots of unpopulated areas. Like near the river. And near a very specific area of woods, that are not highly populated or have high structures. I'm not condoning it, but if the FAA hasn't deemed Kings Island a restricted area like a baseball/football stadium or a race track, it's fair game. Feel free to research the topic yourselves.
  9. I get that Kings Island prohibits them. But above a certain height, you no longer own the airspace. They couldn't do anything about it if the drone is over an area free of people and above a certain height. Not even a big corporation like Cedar Fair can prohibit them, unless there is something like a local ordinance or state law that prohibits it.
  10. Technically, I don't think there's any law (currently) that would restrict someone from say...flying a drone over Kings Island. Airspace above a certain threshold is fair game, as long as you don't violate 400 feet and the drone has a valid permit with the FAA.. But this is pure speculation, and I do not endorse or recommend anyone doing this.
  11. You'll find most of the fans of the Cincinnati Bearcats actually attended that University rather than most UK fans The new WWC queue looks nice, maybe some intriguing elements that will incorporate close to the new queue. Barking up the wrong tree on this one. I'm proud to be an alum.
  12. We'd be missing something comparable to Maverick, Gatekeeper and Valravn. I don't even count TTD since it's not open half the time.
  13. Wait a minute - Cincinnati Bearcats fans actually exist? -LMSB, a Kentucky Wildcat fan like others here.
  14. The amount of stress and anxiety some of you get from an internet message board is astounding.
  15. While I305 is an great ride, Fury puts it to shame. Come on, now.
  16. And as far as Millenium Force being better than Fury? Bahahaha.
  17. I strongly agree. Decades behind Intamin, ha. B&M has a far superior safety record. That's what matters.
  18. Honestly you could combine all other CF parks into one and CP would be better. This is false.
  19. Top Thrill Dragster (and other Intamin products) are great...when they work. When they don't work, which seems like a common occurrence, there's either significant downtime or compromised public safety. Will Intamin be a viable company in 10 years? It looks grim.
  20. Highly, highly ironic. How long are the moderators going to let this troll go on?
  21. I'd say those with meal plans paid for regular meals, not special events. Besides, I'd definitely pay an extra $5 for all you can eat.
  22. I don't dislike Gatekeeper, but I don't absolutely love it, either. It's kinda...meh. It's like stuffing with Thanksgiving dinner. I don't love it, nor do I hate it, but it's just kind of...there.
  23. But WDW and Universal have IP attached to the rides that sell the tickets. WDW could attach a couch to the back of a tractor and call it "Frozen: The Ride" and people would flock to it. Not exactly a great comparison.
  24. Families of course, but the addition of something like a family coaster isn't going to generate an increase in attendance the way a large thrill ride would. It's not even close.
  25. I get that, but the money is in thrill rides. It's not in the wild mouses.
