Don gave a smile when asked about it, then proceeded to talk about the barrier in Rivertown. Allowing hype to build up for an attraction, only to disappoint when it doesn't happen doesn't seem like good business sense to me. But hey, I don't operate an amusement park.

That video with Don basically confirmed a new coaster for 2017. I don't care what anyone says.

I guess that's what happens when you build such structures in an area of the country that's prone to high winds and unseasonable temperatures.

Would Maverick valley in that position with additional mass (riders) aboard?

We're so starved for hints/teasers/news that we're discussing rides that are down at Cedar Point. Interesting.

How does a launched coaster like Maverick valley? I rode it twice and can't think of where it would..

So I rode the train yesterday, and unless they really start clearing large swaths of trees, I don't think we're getting a coaster. There's just not enough work back there being done, including markers, to expect a coaster is going in. There's still a lot of time left, though.

Beast Gal, you can reject the Dinosaurs Alive relocation idea as much as you want, but it is much more likely than Kings Island getting your Intamin "cowboy coaster".

I've seen at least two small vehicles, possibly Bobcats roaming around in that area by the trees. They're hard at work with something.

That could just be for building WWC's new path, right?

Just read up on Intamin's issues over the years. I completely forgot that Intamin was the manufacturer for both Flight Commander and Superman Tower of Power. That's a horrid safety record.

So I knew Intamin had some problems, but 3 different accidents resulting in death in just 5 years? No thanks.
