If the price goes above $100, you can count on me not buying it. If they do make it more than $100, at least provide a cheaper option with maybe less bells and whistles (I.e. Snacks and drinks). I do think adding more than one "type" of the all season dining plan would be very beneficial to the park.

^^ Great Insight. I think I have already ruled out that they are not getting rid of The Racer, I know the "two things" are most likely not attractions. The likely hood of them opening up the area where Coney Mall and Oktoberfest meet is highly plausible, but then again half of me wants to say that the park will keep Coney Mall as Coney Mall to always have something to pay homage to Kings Island's original park near the Ohio River.

Well, at Toy Story Midway Mania! the fun does indeed start when you come to a stop at each carnival game. Maybe it's a shoot em up or a similar of the type at or around Action Theater. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

True. Considering Don's history with that beloved ride, I'm not sure he would stand for such a thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm confused on how this was predicted.....

Could it be possible that they're only removing one side of The Racer? Maybe to open up that area near Action Theater for future park expansion / a new themed area? Anywho. I do agree those "two things" most certainly do not have to be rides or attractions. They could be little things. Like that one water fountain on International Street that's been there since 1972...

So is Disney sorta copying The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in the way that it's one movie or series of movies combined into one themed "land" of the park? Interesting... Anyway, they said in the presentation that this is all part of the plan to turn Disney's Hollywood Studios from a park that took you behind the scenes to a park that immerses you right in the action of the films. With this I do think we can expect a new name change for the park.

Best time to go the park this week is in the morning. Great lines, great to marathon rides.

Since the pizza is barely LaRosa's, and the park staffs the LaRosa's anyway, why not just drop the LaRosa's brand name and just call them "Rivertown Pizza" and "International Street" pizza, respectively; implying a Kings Island original pizza.

Thank God it's ending. Italian Job 2005 did not like said show. Just my opinion.

Kings Island 2015 Discussion Thread
Italian Job 2005 replied to Nick_Plummer's topic in Kings Island
Too bad that doesn't apply to mazes at a Haunt stranded on an Island. The difference is that Disney and even Universal continuously add new technologies and scenes to some of their longer-standing shows (Fantasmic!, Illuminations, World of Color, 360 Spectacular, Graveyard Revue, Waterworld, etc.) to keep them relatively fresh to newer audiences. Disney and Universal also don't stick to just contemporary music revue shows as their only means of non ride-able entertainment (Cirque Imagine and Skeleton Crew notwithstanding). Disney and Universal also do not attract the same crowd as Kings Island. Disney and Universal are "destination" resorts where the majority of its visitors are not passholders. When you have different people every day, it's more acceptable to show the same shows, simply because those people haven't seen the show before. Kings Island however, is heavily saturated by passholders, who return to the park frequently. It's important to keep adding new things to give passholders new things to check out. -
Reason #1 why I'm getting all I can out of Kings Island while I'm young. I know humans age. Humans change in their likes / dislikes. Right now I like roller coasters a lot. I ride roller coasters a lot. Probably not so much when I'm older. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Kings Island overall food concession experience 2015
Italian Job 2005 replied to Tr0y's topic in Kings Island
And you certainly could start packing your lunch, considering there's no one checking bags outside the main entrance to tell you that it's against park policy to bring in outside food or beverage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Where is that on IS? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Maybe they renamed it The Bat to let everyone know that it, too would eventually be removed from the park. Sinister me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

If they're not scanning the cups' barcodes, people could just waltz in with their Souvenir Cup from last year and slap a piece of paper that says 2015 on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Apparently it was true(?). My Grandma (who was coincidently in the park the same day as me with some cousins) went to the front of the line and asked the associate working there and he said that Tower Drinks was the only one selling them. I'm not sure what was up with that. It doesn't seem logical to say they "ran out" of souvenir cups at the other food stands. Not logical at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I went on Friday; and for some strange reason, Tower Drinks had a ridiculously long line. I asked a guest why they were waiting there and they said that apparently that was the only place that sold Souvenir Cups. Really. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
