Feeling good about what you say is essential to feeling good what others say. I'd do it.

Coasterstock is the weekend before finals..... Oh, how I dread Misery May, the month where everything is happening at the same time.

I wonder now if Paramount is banging themselves for selling the 5 American parks back in 2006. I feel like they would enjoy the extra revenue generated from places where you can get away with overpricing for stuff like jacking up food prices. I've been rooting for this Murcia, Spain project since its inception, but things are not looking good. And part of me wants back a Paramount themed park somewhere in the world, even if it has to be in Spain. Universal and Disney seem to be the only competitors in the movie/studios theme park business.

Disney World updates
Italian Job 2005 replied to Gabe's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
This is going to be people's thoughts if Disney simply cannot get their act together with construction timelines. Why did it take nearly 5 years to complete even New Fantasyland? -
Geauga Lake Park today.....

1. Meijer 2. Six Flags attempts to return at which point Cedar Fair laughs in their face 3. SkyZone? That'd be cool. -
Great Wolf Mason Questions
Italian Job 2005 replied to guy1115's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I also prefer Kalahari for indoor water park resorts. They seem to pay more attention to detail and are intent on providing a great guest experience as well as maintaining and updating their parks and facilities. Too bad we don't have on here in Mason. -
Let's just say SEAS would be in a heck of a lot more trouble than they already are. Busch is currently keeping them alive.

Kings Island is now hiring for the 2016 season! Help create the #BestDayEver for the park and its guests. Seasonal employment comes with tons of cool benefits like associate ride nights, discounts, admission perks, and more! It's interesting to note how much they refer to Cedar Fair in this video. Could this be the beginning of Cedar Fair implementing corporate branding?

AWESOME Beverage Deal for Passholders at KI!
Italian Job 2005 replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
Had Cedar Fair Entertainment Company been privately owned and not have to please investors, think about how different the parks might be. If they didn't have to show an increase in spending per capita every quarter, then maybe food wouldn't be as expensive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Kings Island 2015 Discussion Thread
Italian Job 2005 replied to Nick_Plummer's topic in Kings Island
Disney uses teams safely and efficiently year round. Granted, they are more or less masters at moving people from place to place (The entire Walt Disney World Transportation System is a good example." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Disney World updates
Italian Job 2005 replied to Gabe's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Not sure if this was mentioned, but Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort has finally been updated to include the new white bedspreads and themed bedtail as well as a Murphy bed in select rooms, sleeping up to 5 guests. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Noah's Ark Theme Park
Italian Job 2005 replied to OleShawn's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Probably just an Ark, restrooms, and maybe one or two merchandise shops. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

A park's image is EXTREMELY important. Even in the small ways. Take Disney's Hollywood Studios for example...the Imagineers constructed The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at 199 feet because they didn't want to have to put a blinking tower light on top of the structure because it wouldn't look detract from the theme. Details.

Yes, they're on the height walls as well. I don't understand the inconsistency. People will start asking what "The Crypt" is and where it is; it just creates more confusion.

Action Theater, Crypt, and Thunder Alley... hmmmm...

I think this just goes to show that Kings Island has not looked at their front gate signage since at least 2012 (since that was the first year that Crypt was closed). Ahh how I wish Kings Island was as consistent as Disney, who has pretty much all signage for Downtown Disney around their 44 mile property already changed to Disney Springs. The Selfiesaurous (or whatever it's called; the one that you take pictures by) seemed to be ripped to shreds last time I walked through which was sometime in July. -
The area walking towards CarnEvil from Boo Blasters is almost too dark to be safe. Almost. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If I were to guess, I would definitely say upwards of 50k, definitely not 24k. Regardless, it was DEFINITELY packed on Saturday though. People didn't go home because they were tired. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
