I would switch the gate entrance to the opposite side after you pass security. It has seems like Frogger trying to cross over people exiting the park. Put the exit by guest relations and have the fence take you away from people entering the park. Unless I am missing something besides tradition this would workout better.

It does seem like Kings Island is behind in building the new rethemed area of the park and disappointing that the new Grill is not open as well as the new Tom and Chee. Lines were very long at all food places especially since some are not open yet.

Would love a healthy food option restaurant that carried low carb entrees. Doesn’t Cedar Pointe have an option like that already that they could bring to Kings Island too?

Buy the candle that smells like it instead. Sure it’s a lot cheaper to buy.

Thank you for the information about the midnight certification on the rides. I just think KI could offer more after 10:30pm that night when they stay open until 1:00am. More entertainment in the Festhaus or the bandstand with live bands performing up until midnight would be a great addition. Look at what Epcot does at their World Showcase on NYE. Would be cool to have live bands in different locations with drink options available. Not as big as Epcot but on a smaller scale and drowned out all the blowing horns. :)

I had a great time at Winterfest this year and glad they offer this NYE event. The only thing I think should be different that night is to have the rides open later than 10:30pm maybe until 11:00 or 11:30 especially since the park is open until 1:00am and offer one later showtime for the entertainment shows since it’s a special late night event.

I am having fun at Winterfest but a few things I miss are some of the food options that were on the meal plan. Festhaus had more unique holiday food options and the Brewhouse had the reasonable upcharge buffet with entertainment. Just a few things I miss this year.

I went last night too and enjoyed it very much. Glad to get the new Christmas Swing show in the Festhaus. My only improvement would be the sound. It is much too loud and would be better at a lower volume. I know they want a festive atmosphere but it shouldn’t sound like a hard rock concert!

I always thought holiday light projections inside Flight of Fear would be so cool.

Would be cool to have a Phantom Theatre themed maze where Urgent Scare is. It could be a holdover until we hopefully get the Phantom Theatre ride 2.0!

I would love to see them redesign the entrance and exit in and out of the park. I feel like I am playing real life Frogger entering the park and avoid not getting ran into by people crossing over from the exit. Wish they would either switch the exit to the guest relations side with a short fence directing people out into the parking area or have two exits out of the park on the perimeters. Keep the current one by International Restaurant and the other by Guest Relations with a small fence to guide people away from the center where the metal detectors are where people coming into the park are. Would need to work around the ticket booths and season pass somehow but sure they could find a way that works better.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they changed the Urgent Scare building into a Phantom Theatre themed Haunt this year for 2022 I would of course like the ride back but this would be a great addition at the Haunt this year in the interim.

Has anyone tried the chicken Caesar salad available on the meal plan that is available in the kids area of the park? Looking for healthier options in the park and wondered if it would be a good choice.

They we’re definitely holiday floats. Santa sled with leaping reindeer was one of them as well as other Christmas floats.

Just rode Adventure Express today and saw what looks like Winterfest floats where they were housing Carnivale floats. Thinking we are getting a Winterfest parade too!

This attraction was one of the highlights of going to KI. Getting to sit in the air conditioning and see exotic animals was awesome. I wish they would bring this back by partnering with our local award winning Cincinnati Zoo. It would be a great attraction for all ages and a fun addition to Kings Island.

I would love theming on WWC. It would add something to the ride. Does anyone know why they no longer spray you in the last tunnel of the ride?

I think the should have The Sons of The Beast roller coasters for the 50th. A dualing racing steel coaster that would have huge hills and multiple loops in honor of the former Son of Beast coaster and the fact that part of the ride would be in the former Vortex location (loops located in that spot) as well as the ride being near The Beast and go along side of Orion and taking the entire length of Coney Mall. They could use the Action Theatre as part of the loading area with a highly themed indoor multimedia sensory experience explaining the rise and return of the reborn and improved Son of Beast (thought you could get rid of me attitude) dueling in speed to a newly born Son of The Beast. It would be cool to add tunnels to the ride as well with special light effects inside the tunnels. They are mad with sibling rivalry and dueling for Daddy’s (The Beast) attention!

If you log in the app and go to your reservation the health screening information pops up at the bottom of the screen on your phone. It’s nice the reservation is loaded onto the season passes. I had to log in using a computer to be able to use the forgot password and change it in order to be able to login. I wonder why using an iPhone it comes up as an error. Enjoy your time at Kings Island. I will be there tomorrow and can’t wait!

Will they send me an email within 24 hours of my reservation to complete the health screening? I forgot my password to the app and when I put forgot password it always says internal error so I can’t reset it. Please help as my reservation is for tomorrow at 12:30.

I have a reservation for myself and a friend tomorrow. Can someone explain how to get to the pre-assessment health screening so I can complete it? Will they send me an email within 24 hours for me to complete it? I made my reservation online the day reservations opened up and can’t sign into the app because I forgot my password and it always says internal error when I put forgot password. I called Kings Island about this but they said I didn’t need the app to make reservations but is that the only way to get my pre-assessment health screening? Thank you!

This makes me so happy that they are having a special time period opening for just season pass holders. I am sure this will entice many people to buy a pass this year especially since it will be good next season too! I tried to login into the app to be prepared in anticipation for the reservation system but when I said forgot password it says internal system error. I hope this gets fixed soon so I don’t have any issues once they do open it up to make reservations.

Showing my age but wish Winterfest would become the new home for the Shillito's Department Store elves that move and were apart of Santa's Workshop. They recently were in a storefront in Mariemont but was looking for a new home after the 2017 Christmas season. It would be very nostalgic for people who loved seeing them as a kid in the downtown Cincinnati Shillito's Department Store and share them with today's children that attend Winterfest. see the video of them:
