  1. It's empty right now. Riding The Bat several times. Edit: They closed early at 10 not 10:30
  2. Just got a last ride of the night on Mystic Timbers in the back row! Also this was the first day of using FunPix (Really like it)! Rode it six times.
  3. Was watching Kings Island's Instagram live video feed today, and Don Helbig was taking questions. I asked, "Will Coasterstock likely be back in 2018?" He saw the question and said with the growing interest and it becoming more popular, it will be back. This doesn't mean it is 100 percent going to happen but this is nice to hear from him. He also added on by saying if you are going to Coasterstock to let them know and share ideas/feedback to what they could add or make different next year. So if you do have a comment, make sure to share with them!
  4. Unfortunately not going to be there this year. I never got a response from the coaster club I'm in about a problem with one of our accounts. I sent it over a month ago, but never got a response. So I couldn't do much. Disappointed I won't be involved in this awesome event.
  5. I really do like the new Skyline ordering system. I took me less than 30 seconds to order my food with the meal plan.
  6. ^Nice photos. Little did I know I follow you on Instagram, and really enjoy the photos you post. Those are some crazy looking ledgers there in the second picture. Interesting to see the final product of that area.
  7. I just had a very strange Mystic Timbers dream last night that I was at Kings Island (just after being there yesterday) and I remember being on the walkway underneath Diamondback and I was wondering why Mystic Timbers was between The Beast and the old Crypt building. When I was walking up to the entrance I notice that Don Helbig, Greg Scheid, Mike Koontz, and other management team members standing and looking at the station of Mystic Timbers. All of a sudden they announced they are closing and moving the ride over to the other side of the old Crypt building. Within seocnds somehow it was moved to the spot where it is now. Everyone was upset and wondering why they would do this. All of a sudden they had the station and the chain lift up in the right spot, but the droo was facing the other way. Then they began to have a meeting inside the station where I was included in discussing (for some reason) what the plan is for the rest of Mystic Timbers. I offered the idea adding onto the shed, then someone stated, "Yeah, that's a great idea. How about we move it to the middle of the ride? Then have a launch coming out of the shed." As soon as that happened I woke up to a loud sound of thunder. Kind of a confusing story but was cool dreaming about being in a planning meeting. (Which would be cool to do someday)
  8. I believe many of us hyped it up ourselves. Social media hyped it as well, when it was meant to be so hyped up.
  9. I think it was a police helicopter, I saw it as well. At first I thought it was a news station due to the power outage (thankfully not). It was moving fast, but it looked like a sheriff or something. The height was lower I agree, but didn't concern me.
  10. Same here. I rode the back row Friday night while it was raining, and it was an unbelievable experience (I personally like it more than the back row of The Beast). I was thrown off guard when it pulled me over the top of the lift. Felt like I was going to come out of my seat. An overall amazing experience at night in the back row especially when it's raining. A friend of mine mentioned (and a couple of other people) that they cant stop smiling while riding Mystic Timbers. That's where Kings Island and Cedar Fair really scored with this ride.
  11. I heard it was just International Street (but can see not a lot is not running). Still was able to get down from the Eiffel Tower fine. Crowds size is great, Mystic Timbers is the only thing relatively busy.
  12. Think I am going to head up tonight, any guesses on the crowd size with rain on its way?
  13. ^ Fast Lane line moved pretty fast from the three times I've been in line. Make sense Mystic Timbers doesn't have bins. They need the train to get out of there fast. So people aren't sittung in or outside the shed. (Which I think kind of ruins the shed if you're sitting there for a while).
  14. ^ With Haunt being at night they should have someone pace along the walls of the shed (or the queue area). Think the should add more in the first half.
  15. Been thinking about this... ...but they can always add onto the shed. They have lots of room in the first area of the shed.
  16. If anyone is away from the station, Mystic Timbers is "fully operational". #StarWarsReference
  17. I absolutely loved the ride, non stop fun and I felt like I never sat down after the drop. I don't think I got a good a ride for the shed. We sat outside the shed door for like 2 minutes then was in the shed for a while. Does anyone know if it is supposed to be a lot quicker going through?
  18. I still don't know what's in the shed...
  19. No room for error then! Should of seen that one coming. (Re-worded my post) Edit: Thank you Magenta Lizard
  20. I know this has been said somewhere, but what type of wood was used for Mystic Timbers? I can't find the answer anywhere. Thanks in advance!
  21. Passed Kings Island today, and decided to stop and see. Vortex was testing and WindSeeker was hanging a little bit in the air. The Bat, as stated above is hanging on the lift. Photos (all taken in legal areas):
  22. Lights are shinning on Mystic Timbers' lift hill. Sorry for the low quality. Had to zoom in a lot. (Don't worry I wasn't driving and doing this)
  23. Thanks guys for the info, super cool to know!
