I'll be at the park, but I'll definently still watch the live streams after. I would live stream the new scare zones. The interviewing KIC members does sound really cool, too.
-
Sorry for the double post, but the locations of the new scare zones have been revealed on their website. Wasteland is where Nightmare Alley was, and Dance of the Macabre is under the tower.
-
Went by Kings Island last night to check out the eyes after the Reds game, and I think I saw a new lighting package above the eyes on the tower. It was hard to tell because they had those darn flood lights on. It looks pretty sharp. Just looked like they added more red lights above the eyes. Which is why I might of saw this earlier.

Sounds like you had a fun time. Heading up in October with some friends, so I'll make sure to hit Erie Estate first. I was very disappointed they scratched Eden Musse off their list, never got to experience it, and really wanted to. Was it a good replacement in your opinion?
-
They announced it the same time they announced Winterfest last year (August 18th).

Kings Island retweeted this tweet and it seems to have the Wasteland logo. The logo isn't on the website as of yet. Little blurry but still good.

Yes! That's exactly what I think. He could be doing so much to help this city/team/stadium , but he doesn't. He's the reason I don't support the Bengals.

Mystic Timbers has just been named Best New Ride in 2017 by Amusement Today! I am honestly so fortunate to live so close to a truly special ride. Congrats to Kings Island, GCI, and everyone invloved in the making and planing of this ride.
-
I hope it is back. I understand why it wouldn't for Haunt. I still think they could still play it on Sundays.
-
Yes it does have a new stage. Kings Island just tweeted this out:
-
It looks like it. Noticed that when I went by Saturday. Looked to have a bunch of crates on the stage. I am also really looking forward to the beginning of Haunt. One, if not the best, times to visit the park in my opinion. It's great for night rides and is so much cooler.

Didn't suprise me yesterday. It seems like it is always down when I go to the park.
-
I really like the sound of these new two scare zones. I think it's great because it allows some mazes that lack (like Urgent Scare and Board 2 Death as mentioned) to have a bit more scare actors. I do think two scare zones will add more of a Haunt feel to the park. Here's the descriptions and photos that are up (in the link shared in the post above)

Michigan's Adventure would be a nice place for a Raptor. Doubt they'll even invest in that. If KI would ever get an RMC it would be from the ground up.

I haven't experienced rattling.

First off, this thing is an absolute beast. The most airtime in the WORLD! That's one of many things Steel Vengeance will bring to the table. I also really like the logo and the name. The name itself I didn't see coming or hear anyone predict it. Which makes it even more special. I like how they made "Steel" actually steel looking and made Vengeance wood looking. Really representing the fact it is a hybrid coaster. I also really like the intro they did. Intro video:

It was open earlier around 4 today.

Cornstalkers has been gone since last year. Backyard Bayou was there last year and is listed as one that will be back. So I'm assuming it will be there.

Couldn't agree more with you. Also, like I mentioned a while ago, a certain piece of Son of Beast can be found on the floor.

^ It's differently turning into the Drive-In restaurant at Cedar Point. Which is a great thing. I will say that it really hit me today that Surf Dog is very underrated. Will for sure ride it more this year.

^ CoasterBob62 is an even greater person in real life. Met him a year or so at Kings Island and had a great conversation. He seemed to direct the conversation more than me. Awesome guy!

I thought they had performers last year? I do know before last year they didn't.
