Used FastLane Plus on a Saturday in October during HalloWeekends, and it wasn't a good idea. For example the FastLane for Valravn and Maverick were over an hour. I'm assuming there isn't a limit.

Unlike him, I usually wear jackets. Rain (like today) at amusement parks are great. Clears the crowd out. In October I was at Cedar Point, after the a rain storm passed the park was completely cleared out.

Speaking of weather, this is my type of weather. Cool/cold. Much better than those 90+ degree days at Kings Island. 50 to 60 degree days at the park are the best.

In one of the renderings there seems to be a good amount of extra room behind the new RV spots. I wonder what they will do there.

Would they have to buy the rights for Barbie if they for some reason did a Barbie pink? I like the idea of purple or green track color. As long as it's not a main color already seen at Kings Island multiple times on coasters.

I personally think the back rows are the best on Mystic Timbers. Plus, you get to see the animation unfold all the way on the front screen. Some nitpicks I have be WindSeeker's queue line. Line jumping happens way too much. I've stated this a lot before and will probably continue doing so. Another nitpick would be that the Coca-Cola refill station at the train station is rarely open. It would be nice because they have the freestyle machines there. I always have to get FlavaRavn Fizz, which is 70% Pibb extra cherry vanilla (regular is good too) and 30% Fanta (orange).

Keep in mind it was built in 1979 (by the park itself). Surprised they even had the helix section. Like @King Ding Dong said, I've never been bored on a coaster.

I'm not saying it wasn't intense I'm just saying the intensity between it and The Beast was so far a part. I agree with @KIBeast , ridership is another factor that plays into the discussion. I'm sure it comes down to the ride experience as well.

I'm pretty sure intensity matters in their discussions. Force is a part of intensity. I'm sure the lack of forces on Mean Streak was one of the main reasons why they RMC'ed it. The Beast is a far better ride than Mean Streak when it comes to that. (That's only one way The Beast was better than Mean Streak)

Your point? Pretty sure that helps The Beast stay untouched by RMC.

I would not. If they were to build an RMC, I think it would be from the ground up. I can't see them doing the RMC treatment to The Beast.

I prefer the middle. It's difficult to get lapbar down though. The Beast is always going to have that wild side to its ride experience. Like, IndyGuy4KI said, it ran great last season. I never saw it closed or delayed (outside of weather) in my many trips to the park. If you want a smooth experience sit in the front row or sit towards the front in the middle of a car (you're off the wheel in the middle).

^ I was going to pull the classic The Price is Right move and bid one above you and say '21, but I'm going to say '20 as well. I was shocked they got Mystic Timbers as soon as they did, so I'm thinking they'll get their next coaster (which I think will be a Giga) in 2020.

I wouldn't mind them going back with the old color schemes.

There is no way they would change The Racer's name.

(Going back to the top of the page) I think I do a very good job at not being glued to my phone or the TVs when I'm in line. Can't miss any classic GP comments! I've mentioned this before but I wish they would put nets between the gaps in the railings at WindSeeker. It would stop a lot of people from just hopping in line without getting a number, because it seems like everytime it's the seats my group has. It's really irritates me and gets on my nerves. It's one of my pet peeves I guess. I've sarcastically thanked someone for taking my seat before.

Noticed we didn't have a thread like last year's for just general discussion about Kings Island this year. Here's last year's discussion: This is a great place to post things you don't think need a completely new thread such a small changes you noticed during the year, photos, experiences, tweets, etc. To start it off, I drove past KI today and noticed the Christmas tree in front of the entrance is still up. Assuming thats the last thing they take down. They are in the process of taking the house frame down though. It felt like a spring day driving by with the sun out.

Last time they painted Carolina Cyclone was 2010, so it's been a good amount of time. They've even repainted Woodstock Express (2015). Would be cool if Kings Island repainted their Flying Ace Ariel Chase as well.

I like that idea but I feel like they would have to move the exit of The Racer. Cutting the queue off, and sliding it under the shade structure would work. I also figure the Coca-Cola plaza (Or whatever it's called) would stay since its new.

If the car I'm in is swaying like The Bat does going into the brake run, there's something wrong with the car .

That's amazing. You just made the anticipation for going back even greater .

I'll be visiting this year for the first time since 2014, so it will have changed a lot for me.
