  1. And also, adding on to what terp said, guest in the queue would throw food at Maestro. And also when riding I remember seeing spit and gum on the glass during scenes on the ride like the beginning portraits and Peppers Ghost scene, where immature kids would spit there gum on. Us who really loved the ride hated to see it like that in Phantoms later years, and the park rarely cleaned it up.
  2. Not from what I can remember, I think those two just had that scene in the beginning. Although I seem to remember Lionel being in the Peppers Ghost scene. Sorry my memory is foggy, the last time I rode Phantom was 2002 and by then most of the original effects had stopped working correctly. Like during one ride The furnace guys arm fell off. Lots of times during its final seasons the ride would stop halfway through or some of the characters would be missing arms, legs, or even heads. It fell apart like all great rides do. If by some miracle this year they get the animatronics out for Haunt like they used to, you can clearly see the shape they're in. Also the furnace from Phantom is used on Slaughterhouse and the Phantom Mouse on Board to Death.
  3. Well basically during this scene all the characters from the theater are doing their speciality acts. Maestro is on the organ, Garbonzo shoots out of the cannon. Hodelini is floating while doing his magic trick, Helga Bolvine is singing, there is audience members watching the scene looking down in the balcony, and basically thats it. There is also a castle in the background and a couple of other props but basically during the peppers ghost scene, the characters just do they're acts. Hope that helped you some and if you have any more questions on Phantom, I'm sure me or someone else can answer it. Thanks!, Maestro
  4. And also you should look for the Phantom Theater faces in Boo Blasters queue hallway. My profile pic is one of them I took a picture of this year when I rode Boo Blasters.
  5. Welcome to KIC, love the avatar. Like many of us I love Phantom Theater and you should also check out my PT haunt forum along with my Boo Blasters TLC forum. I read that you never got to experience Phantom, well I promise you it was a very special ride and hopefully in the near future we will have something like it. I will try to explain the Peppers Ghost trick. It was one of my favorite scenes. Basically you have a big glass mirror and the characters stood above and below the glass. And also the canon and other props were placed there. Basically what your seeing is the reflection which appears to make the characters float. the video on Youtube doesn't do it justice. You really had to see it in person to get the full affect. I hope that helped you some. Just a memory of mine that I thought I'd share. There is lots of Phantom Theater stuff still floating around today. Especially during Haunt. If you look around there's lots of stuff in the mazes. I knew right when I saw this post I would try to answer it off my memory of the ride. Hope this helped you and I hope for a Phantom-like ride in the near future. Thanks!, Maestro.
  6. Boo Blasters not working seems to be a recurring thing. It worked alright when I rode it, I rode it 5 times in a row, the skelton chasing scene was not working and neither were most of the props. But one scene that always has worked is the final spooky skelton scene. I dont remember that ever not working like its supposed to.
  7. Imagine a Phantom Theater 3D ride, now that would be radtastic.
  8. Yeah I havent seen them in a few seasons either. And the sign is gone too I think. What was the point of them anyway? Did they make the ride any better? I remember seeing them but not caring to buy them.
  9. There is also a tiny square of phantom theater wallpaper in the long, dark, musty, hallway that somebody showed me.
  10. Yes, it is the same wallpaper from Scooby-Doo. And sorry Voicetek I just thought to include Boocifer since he's apart of Boo Blasters.
  11. I've got a Son of Beast structure bolt on my desk. It was a whole lot cheaper.
  12. I've got a Son of Beast structure bolt on my desk. It was a whole lot cheaper.
  13. Yeah I noticed those candles and I thought they were from Phantom. Thanks for mentioning that.
  14. Had a great time today at Kings Island. Rode Boo Blasters 5 times and on about 3 times the guns actually worked. But many props were still broken. The smokescreen effect voice was on. I took many pictures of Phantom Theater remnants and things and even talked to a girl that worked there about it. I even found a new remnant. Heres the pictures of Phantom Theater remnants that I found today. First Maestros balcony . Next Spooky faces Heres a new face that I have never taken a picture of or seen since 2002, Boocifer Maestro's Speaker thats still there. Phantom chandiliers More spooky Phantom Theater faces I also found out that the Maestro's platform where he stood and moved back the curtain is still there. Heres what I mean pictures courtesy of DAFE.com and themeparkuniversity.com Notice where he's standing on the platform it is still there and its the final remnant of Phantom Theater on the ride itself. Here is my picture that I took today of it. Look at the picture at an angle and towards the right and youll see it. You see it? Yeah its pretty neat that Maestro's platform where he stood and pulled back the curtain is still there on the actual ride itself. If you want to see it just look down to the left right before you start Boo Blasters. I had a great time today at Kings Island and hope you enjoy all my Phantom Theater pictures. I love finding and taking pictures of that stuff. Thanks!
  15. Im hoping for a dark ride thats for adults and teens like a Phantom Theaterish type of ride.
  16. I sure hope they keep some of the spooky elements to it. And yes they will probaly use the original Phantom Theater cars that werent used if its not interactive.
  17. I agree the ride system that was put in for Phantom Theater, the omnimovers should defientaly stay. If they go for a Peanuts theme they'll have to do several things. First theyll have to remove the Castle, then theyll have to retheme the queue line and make it less Phantom Theater spooky like. Theyll have to remove most of the queue line features that wont make any sence for Peanuts unless its Halloween themed. Theyll also have to repaint the old Phantom Theater, current Boo Blasters Cars. They will probaly eradicate any of the remaining Phantom Theater remnants, except for the Track and Cars. I really hope we get a dark ride like Phantom, but that just my opinion because I love it so much and would love to see it return. What will end up happening to the Phantom Theater animatronics is my question? I hope theyll use them somewhere. They are full of memories. But hopefully we will continue to see things from Phantom still today during Haunt like the Furnace. Thanks!, thats all of my little rant, I just love Phantom and hate to see anything from it go. but its out of my hands.
  18. Welcome to KIC KatieF you should look for the spooky faces behind the boards if you want to see something cool still left from Phantom. My profile picture is the one who looks like Maestro.
  19. Phantom was truely rad, wait did I just say that? Yes, rad
  20. And yes the Funtvs are no good, thats why I listen to Maestro taunt me still today on my Ipod. Thats as close to the experence of the Phantom queue as you can get today, while staring at his balcony.
  21. This is what me and many other Phantom Theater and Enchanted Voyage fanatics have been preaching for years. Those like myself who lived and experinced Phantom Theater remember how good it was and how badly Boo Blasters needs something new. While I do like to see all the Phantom Theater remnants stil scaring, like the spooky faces, I expect a major peanuts overhall. Phantom may never come back but hopefully theyll build a seperate ride like it. The whole reason why I started this thread was to suggest some changes to help fix broken Boo Blasters but soon enough we probaly wont have to worry about it.
  22. I think that a haunted maze could be perfect in season like in a location like where Slaughterhouse or Wolfpack is. Dont want to scare any kiddies though. This isnt Phantom Theater.
  23. When I visit Kings Island this summer Ill take some pictures of Phantom remnants and add them on here.
  24. I was just wondering if anybody has pictures of Phantom in its later years or if they had any at all that they might like to share. Thanks. I rode it in its final year but my mind is a bit hazy from that long ago. Thanks again.
  25. It was announced today that Hatbox will return next Saturday, May 9th.
