Wouldn't an automatic spiel be a lot better for the employees too??? Allows them to focus on the important stuff, like making sure everyone is safely secured inside the ride... I hate the 'make some noise if you're ready for the blah blah blah'... Even WORSE is the 'Welcome back riders, how was your ride?' and the restraints not being released until they get a good response... The ride is over, let us off... I can also do without the 'if you want to go higher/faster let me here you scream' screeched too loudly 16 times during one flat ride cycle like I had last weekend...

What a load of crap...

Every coaster company has the ability to wow or disappoint depending on what they build... To me, who they get to build the ride is less important than what they're hired to build...

But the article isn't about the Olympics... It's about Disney World... Just trying to stay informed...

If you order 'bacon' in Canada you don't get what you would call 'Canadian Bacon'... You would have to order 'back bacon' or 'peameal bacon' to get Canadian Bacon in Canada...

I don't know why they'd hold it on the July 1 weekend... It'll be the busiest weekend of the year, why wouldn't they have it another time to try to draw more people in on a slower weekend???

Shame they couldn't keep it working.. I never see much of a line for the Huss Giant Enterprise nearest me, nor do I ride it often... I really do like the look of them though...

As of 2013, at least 1 other park had a full set of Action Theatre seats in storage in case they wanted to re-install them in the future... If KI had wanted to keep theirs running and it was a matter of parts for seats, they could have acquired those quite easily...

It might be twice as better at some parks... But if you think that KI is giving you a raw deal compared to all the rest of the parks ERT offerings you need to take another look... Yes, it could be better... But it could be far, far worse...

^^^ I'll second that... I've done much of my theme parking solo, and I notice that the front gate photographers largely ignore a solitary guest...

If only the clock would help... I know a B&M giga that has a countdown clock... It was set at 45 seconds, and would often dispatch in time... Then they added seatbelts, and changed the timer to a minute... And it rarely/never hits the target

Tell you what, maybe someone could arrange a trade: we`ll send you the Jump2 in exchange for designing a good wooden coaster for us...

Last year at KI I was told by the attendant that I could not ride Slingshot alone, and as I was traveling solo, was told I would have to find someone willing to ride with me... I offered to pay for the other seat that would be empty and told that was not allowed... As much fun as it sounded, I passed on the 'talk random strangers into getting on Slingshot with me' experience...

The most enjoyable part of a Jump2 is the surprise you get when it isn't down for maintenance... Don't get me wrong, it's a fun ride... When it runs...But it's down for maintenance more than any other ride in the park...

I'd love this as well...

Whatever keeps me from getting stuck 300 feet in the air for hours on end until they fix it! Seriously, my single biggest fear in the park...lol. My fear is to be stuck in such a precarious position and then feel the need to make a call of nature...

^^^ I really didn't think Dimensions was that great... Hope KI gets something better than it...
