Because thumping the patriotism drum is easy, and reaps profits??? Look how successful the CW Canada 150 stuff was... I mean Tim Hortons has been playing the 'cup of canadiana' card for years, and its been insanely successful for a sub-par donut chain founded by a guy who died while drinking and driving...

It's an express lane... It's usually much shorter than the line for people paying... And I thought I posted a photo of that before, but I can't find it...

^^^ I've only ridden 2... Enjoyed Griffon way more Valravn… Worries me slightly because of the CW fanboys thinking that drop height/speed/#of inversions guarantees a better ride... Not sure if it's just me, but I can't tell how much I'll like a ride by watching videos of it... It just doesn't translate for me...

No, it'll still be good during the day on the 29th and during the day in October...

They can still get in after labour day... Just not for Haunt...

Does anyone know how many guests are season passholders?
Honorarius replied to MisterSG1's topic in Kings Island
Most of the people who live in my area go once a year for their yearly visit... Very few go more than once or have season passes... Contrary to what some believe, other places exist in Ontario outside the GTA... -
I'm saying in the cases I mentioned at CP(GateKeeper) and NJFTP(Joker), the OP most certainly did not do 'what they could'... On GK, the operator tried to push down the restraint with the amount of force of a cat pushing a vase off a desk... With Joker, the operator didn't try at all she just shrugged... In this case, the rider has really short arms and below average upper body strength... In both instances we circled back later and different OPs were able to get the bar down easily... At KI, the operators were willing to help if necessary, and always asked before pushing on the restraint...

I have to say the ride ops were extremely helpful with helping my travel companion fit into rides on our trip to Kings Island this week... Sitting in the seat you don't have anywhere near the leverage someone does standing in front of the seat... At both CP and NJFTP she had to take the walk on a ride she'd ridden earlier in the day just because we got a ride op that was in complete don't give a **** mode...

As an outsider, wondering what your opinion is on the Paramount Era
Honorarius replied to MisterSG1's topic in Kings Island
^^^ In Paramount's defence (never thought I'd type those words), if they didn't remove the family rides for the intense rides like the Jump^2, Top Scan and Frisbee, there wouldn't have been any thrill rides added at all... -
It's a complicated equation involving how much I like the ride, how long is the wait, how long since I've ridden it, if I'm at the park with someone who has never ridden it before, etc... My next visit will be with a first-timer, so I'll ride everything she wants to ride to keep her company...

NJFTP doesn't let you have anything in your pocket though... CP is just going after phones... Is the problem objects in general coming out of pockets on the ride, phones coming out of pockets on the ride, or people taking their phones out on the ride??? If this is their solution to objects coming out of pockets, it's a poor one... If this is their solution to people taking their phones out on the ride, it's a poor one...

I haven't ridden Steel Vengeance yet, so as of right now, Millennium Force is still my favorite coaster in Ohio...

Anyone ridden a Tourbillon??? Like the look, but not sure if it's a good ride or not...

1991-2008 = 17

Sure, it just means you have to go 17 years between good coasters...
