  1. I see they edited the video... The teaser image for it used to have a giant DANGER on it to try to generate more clicks...
  2. I would like to see Cedar Fair take a page from the Six Flags playbook and sell covers (I think they're neoprene?) for the bottles...
  3. As someone pointed out, BGW is just over an hour from KD, so I'd highly recommend doing one if you're doing the other... They may not have the most coasters, but there isn't a bad one in the bunch... And if you can for any reason swing by Dollywood as part of your trip, I consider it another "don't miss"... It has 2 of my all time favorite wooden coasters, and some of the best theme park food I've ever eaten... If you can manage more than just a day or two in the area, try one of the alpine coasters and one of the local moonshine places...
  4. Really makes you shudder to think that for a 13 year stretch, Flight Deck was their marquee coaster... Does RMC do their own install work when they're in another country or do they contract it out??? Heard a rumour at CW the other day that RMC won't be coming because of Canadian foreign worker laws...
  5. To simulate this unique experience, find a metal garbage can, invert it and place it over your upper body... Then invite the local little league team to beat on the outside of the can like a piƱata... To further add depth to the experience, stand in a line for 45 minutes before you do it...
  6. From personal experience, going feet first, any higher than 25 is hard on the feet... And should you be flailing your arms or not have your legs together, it's an unpleasant feeling...
  7. Lot of coasters I love, not enough room for them all... 10... Thunderhead 9... GateKeeper 8... Raptor 7... Banshee 6... Fury 325 5.. Millennium Force 4... El Toro 3... I-305 2... Steel Vengeance 1... Lightning Rod
  8. Agreed... Toss 'em out...
  9. As a precaution, Yukon Striker is running only 1 train today...
  10. It's by far one of the worse flats in the park... The cycle they run it on is beyond tame, and the seats cram you in there like a multi-person straight jacket... I'd compare the seats on it to another ride, but I can't think of one that is that bad... If you're near it, just skip it and ride Lumberjack twice Unfortunately, the Jump^2 is one of a kind for a reason... They haven't built another because this one is a maintenance headache and has more downtime than the rest of the flats in the park combined... Should you ever see it running, ride it ASAP before it breaks again... And when it goes down, it could be a day, week or month to get the part to fix It IS a great flat though...
  11. ^^^ The middle seat in every car is smoother than the seats ahead/behind it, and the farther back you go, the more of a difference... So for the smoothest rides, try rows 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17...
  12. That's a bit disappointing... Shouldn't my time/money spent in the park be just as valuable as a local??? Hell, I spend far more at parks I visit than I do at my home park... Spent 2 days at KI last week, spent $125 or so just on merch over them...
  13. Is it only for home parks??? Or if I go to another park with my Platinum Pass, would I be eligible to earn perks???
  14. Oh, and the cinnamon bread from the Grist Mill at Dollywood is phenomenal and lives up to the hype...
  15. Just got back... Def do one of the alpine coasters... There's one that runs at night with the track lit up, and it's for sure worth your $15... Also, if there's not too many of you, instead of dropping $20 for parking at Dollywood, take the trolley... It's $3 dollars a head (and 3 and under is free) for a day pass for the trolley (or $2.50 one way to/from Dollywood), and you can park for free in the lot at the trolley office... Saved the 2 of us $14 bucks a day each of our 3 Dollywood days...
  16. I believe the keychain was from a shop in the kids area near where we got blue ice cream...
  17. Picked this up last year to add to my wife's collection...
  18. I'm jealous, wish every park did something like this...
  19. I collect shot glasses, small, easy to display, cheap, good selection almost anywhere you go you can but one. Coffee mugs are always nice, good variety, everywhere has one and they're everyday useful.
  20. Thanks to someone in my house who sews, Tshirts that I am no longer going to wear get converted to covers for the throw pillows for my couch.
  21. Well, it makes more sense than adding a 2nd invert
  22. I think having most of the parks have Six Flags in their name works to their advantage... Pick a place, they've heard of Six Flags, and associate it with a theme park... CF doesn't get anywhere near that penetration in terms of name recognition of their parks...
  23. Im interested in the details the loyalty program... Hopefully we learn more soon...
  24. I have a fear that I will end up in that situation and then feel the need for a restroom...
