Yeah, the Brady Bunch trivia is still relevant. It still draws lots of traffic, rides well, but it does desperately need a paint job.

I totally agree that the Action Theatre needs to go or be replaced. I know Haunt uses the building but I think the majority of the season-- it sitting empty is a waste of space.

Once I saw another guest do something incredibly stupid because of a football he won at one of the games... I guess he threw it out of The Beast train when the ride took out of the station. When the ride was over for our train, he somehow hopped a fence and went under the track to get the ball right when a train was released. It was so, so stupid. Fortunately karma got him, it is much easier to get into The Beast's enclosure than to get out. I got to see him escorted out by security and employees.

BLSC is one of my favorite rides in the park, actually. I just think it's a slow wait generally. I think it'd be less ugly though if they just took the time and money to upkeep the attraction and effects. If I got to choose something to replace it, I'd replace it with something as family friendly. I think a wild mouse would be fun at a decent use of space.

I've never ridden it. It's a ride I consistently skip, and I'm not sure why. I can't even tell you where the queue line is.

yeah, I am a-okay with the bins disappearing. I was often so paranoid about things being stolen from there that it never seemed worth it. I'll be interested to see what people do with their game prizes during rides then. The giant banana seems fun till you want a nighttime ride on The Beast.

This is a really great thread! Thank you for bumping!

I'm always worried about losing or damaging my phone in the park, but that's how I take pictures. How do you guys safely store your phone? Even a thick case won't protect it from falling out of your pocket on a coaster!
-
I'm actually pretty happy to hear it's a 4. This sounds like a great coaster that families could ride together in case they have one chicken in the family like mine did (it was me).

Thank you!! I'll have to show these to my sister and see if she recognizes them!
-
Does anyone have pictures of the Phantom Theater pieces being used in Haunt? I was telling my sister about it because she always goes to Haunt!
-
Did you know there's a Jellystone Campground in Cave City, Kentucky? You can meet Yogi and everything!
-
For me, it's where I've began overcoming many of my coaster fears-- and I love the variety of coasters so there's something for semi chickens like myself.

This was a really fun thread to read. Makes me wish there was a book of hidden KI remnants like hidden Mickey's in WDW!

I think DA was a terrible idea. Generally I don't go to a theme park for a dinosaur exhibit unless it's in a ride format. Walk through exhibits like that are often seen as independent attractions or maybe something in a zoo or museum. Also totally agree with the TR building. I have a pet peeve for the amount of space used/saved for Haunt. I'm sure it's a great money maker, but for the majority of a season-- it's sitting empty. I think a lot of my complaints about the park are about theming, and when it's not updated-- I hope to see rides disappear. I don't know a lot about Cedar Fair, but I feel like the park has lost some of the magic since they took over. Do they ever acknowledge guests concerns and explain the changes or lack there of?

I actually didn't know that it interacted with the train and WWC! I can't wait!!
-
I think if they just cleaned it up some-- that it would make it feel like a completely new coaster. Either strip it of theming or fix it, you know? The old snippets of themes just makes it feel unkept-- which sometimes makes me wonder if the coaster is being updated as much as it should. Not saying that they're NOT being checked-- but the old, forgotten atmosphere can give off that impression.

Do they do anything special for the holiday? Like is there an Easter egg hunt or is the bunny out for pictures?
-
I absolutely agree that it's generational. I was obsessed with Rugrats in the 90's, so seeing Chuckie and Angelica through the park was very exciting for me.
-
I think it looks great, but I don't think it can beat The Beast truly for a few years. I think part of The Beast experience is knowing it's a legend.
-
Thank you!! How wonderful!

I regret not going more often when the kids park was all Nickelodeon. I'm still a huge Nick fan, and I prefer it over Snoopy! I wish it was still there!
-
I didn't even know KI was open on Easter Sunday.

Check out the video posted by BB1, and I think you'll be able to tell from the pictures the original poster used. If you were basing it purely off of theming, I don't think it compares to Universal Orlando.

The issue I have with The Bat's queue line isn't just the distance, it's the feeling that that area isn't upkept. While I appreciate the stars leftover from Top Gun on the bridge, it feels old and needs an update. Plus the random M&M machine always makes me wonder if it's kept stocked and fresh. And if I remember correctly-- I was there in July and saw leftover Haunt stuff sitting out at the front of the line. I just think it feels outdated. Note: I'm griping about things that were there in 2015 when I was last there. If it's been updated since then, I apologize.
