I don't think Kings Dominion does the Nano Coasters. Do they?

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees

Was there on 6/2 and it is now a hot dog and Italian sausage place with a new sign on the front. -
I'm no expert on motion sickness but I've had problems with it and in my experience the motion itself has nothing to do with it. It has more to do with how your brain interprets (no pun intended) the motion. I can ride Banshee 13 times in a row no problem but if I try to read a book while in a moving car I'll get nauseated in no time. So in my experience this doesn't sound like motion sickness at all, but I find looking at things that are moving (trees etc.) rather than things that appear stationary (since they are traveling at the same speed in the same direction) helps a lot.

Totally 80s store not everything is from the 80s

I noticed some Back to the Future and Terminator shirts when walking by one day. -
I'm thinking this was probably planned well in advance though. And sometimes sales extensions are because of good sales as well.

I can't imagine why you'd say that based on your avatar. Like they don't already have their own base or anything.... -

Could this be what Don is hinting at?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Splintercat?wprov=sfla1 Sent from my LG-D851 using Tapatalk It actually makes alot of sense in my mind. Look at the last few years in Cedar Fairs new coasters or renovations. Banshee (mythical creature) rogurau (mythical creature) fury 325 (furious hornets) leviathain (mythical creature) valravn (mythical creature) and splintercats actually makes more sense now that I've read up on them. They make branches fall of trees. If you go to ki there are multiple branches on the ground they don't uproot trees they make the stumps look splintered. Kind of like some of the stumps in rivertown. All while making most of the trees fall down. Look at the caution signs. They look like something is knocking them down kind of like a bigfoot or a splintercat. Good research and good decoding. I think this could be a real possibility but if the green track is for us I don't see how that color would fit in with this theme Green track would go well with yellow, tan and/or brown which are all common colors for cats. -

You can check here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utility_location - or look for any of the other links given previously in the thread. -
Went on the train today and they said later this summer although the ride was running when we went past. There were a bunch of employees at the station, for training I'm guessing. Pun not intended, or is it?

Going to get this out there as its already almost time to go on my second trip. Me and my brother left around 7am (taking into account the time zone change) and arrived around 10 minutes after they opened. We parked in the Legend lot since I saw the huge sign for it and didn't even notice the parking was free till the park was almost closed. The lines to get in were short and it only took a few min, they had bag checks (that you could easily pass) but no metal detectors. We immediately went to the left for the Raven which was closed, an employee said it would probably open around 3:30 (it didn't till after 4:30 at least), then went on toward the Legend. Their scrambler was in pieces so the first impression wasn't too great. The Legend only had a 5 min wait and we started going up and down the park hitting Legend, Voyage and Thunderbird. Longest wait all day was around 25 min for the Voyage. We stopped to get lunch around 11:30 at the Goblin Burgers. Having just watched Trolls 2 the night before made this funnier than it should have been. The food was decent and a burger and fries was about $10. After this we rode the antique cars once then headed back to the parking lot for my camera. We decided to hit up the water park as it had reached 63 and was getting a bit sunny out. The water was freezing so we just got in a ride on Mammoth and a couple on Wildebeast. I had never been on anything like them and both were awesome. We got changed and headed back into the park around 4:30 (most of the water park wasn't open) and shortly later Raven opened so we finally got to ride it. At this point the park was getting empty (most of the crowd was from an education day) and everything was a walk on. We headed back toward Thunderbird and ended there since we weren't sure if we would make it back to the Voyage for one last ride. We got in the front left seats and stayed on for 4 rides before the park closed. Final count - Raven - 1 Legend - 4 Voyage - 5 Thunderbird - 8 Antique Cars - 1 Mammoth - 1 Wildebeast - 2 Best Ride for me - The Voyage (an amazing ride that won by a mile for me, runner up Thunderbird) My Bros pick - Thunderbird (I think, he kept wanting to ride that one) Final thoughts - The Voyage is amazing and one of the best coaster I have ever ridden. Thunderbird is awesome as well and The Legend is very good. Raven is the weakest of them and I don't feel it earned it's Golden Ticket awards. Fun ride that is way too short, kinda like The Beast in layout but not nearly as good. The park has a very solid lineup of coasters and a nice charm to it. The day after at Kings Island I actually got a little wordplay on Diamondback kinda like what Holiday Worlds coasters do. "Sit back and hold on tight this snake is ready to strike!" or something like that. We will definitely return at some point. Up next is Six Flags Great America.

It would need a longer queue than The Bat. -
I just opened mine up and none of them have the glossy black finish on either side like in the pictures. Is this a mistake or are you expected to paint the base? Edit: my bro says it peels off. Doesn't look like it could though. Here is a vid of Fury 325 for reference. Beast doesn't have any corners though.

I didn't see them in the Banshee shop but Emporium and Coaster Connection had them prominently displayed.
-
Coaster Connection has all 3 of them.
-
I'll check Coaster Connection after Delirium.
-
Where are they at?
-
I think you made a mistake there, 45 min wouldn't be possible in those intervals which is where FoF and Firehawk are often at. I've seen 40 as well before.

I believe in Santa Claus. I took a Voyage there once. We know, you wont stop Raven about it. -
Scaremongering Article

That wasn't my point, I was curious about their reputability and what people here make of them not trying to kill them off. And regardless of whether I pay attention others do and get misinformed. They have been cited before on this site (most recent in search - http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php/topic/31062-accident-on-alton-towers-smiler/page-7)before and I gave a link to provide a source. Sometimes even reputable news outlets put out something ridiculous like this. I'm no expert on add revenue but I do know Google Adwords only pays when someone clicks on an add so seeing one doesn't necessarily mean they are getting paid. Adblockers can keep them from revenue as well. At any rate they not only hurt the park but B&M as well. -
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3569610/Horrifying-moment-riders-heard-screaming-stuck-upside-half-hour-new-Alton-Towers-rollercoaster.html Seems a bit ridiculous to me (poped up on my phone since I've "shown interest in roller coasters") but there will be people who buy into this stuff. Torrential rains... INCH deep flood waters... Upside down? Broken due to rain... some think! What does everyone here make of this article and news network?

Don't get too excited it could be anything. A flat may be boring compared to a Gaga/Woodie but it's a lot better than nothing. And KI could use a few more flats. -

I agree, time to let it go fellas. As has been stated many times none of us really know what's coming. There simply isn't enough info yet and too many past trends have been broken. Let's all keep this in mind. -
