Agreed! I've asked guest services that multiple times. I've never heard back from anyone in leadership despite multiple requests to have someone contact me to confirm the suggestions are being read. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There are plenty of reviews in the app store. Just because someone didn't record it to video doesn't mean they aren't providing a valuable review. The app doesn't list specific menus, but lists locations and provides basic info (do they have at least 1 dining plan option, or at least 1 gluten free option). All of the food features in the app work the same whether you are in the park or at home... So you can download the app yourself and see. Food service has enough to do without updating wait times.. So I don't think that would be an effective add to the app. I have suggested to guest services multiple times that the app really needs to have daily restaurant operating hours (or indicate if a location is closed or not open yet like the rides do when they are down)... Since that suggestion they now at least put a sign on the restaurant window if they are closed to indicate if they will open or not that day... Which is good, but annoying when you walk there just to find that out. I also think most locations need to do a better job at clearly indicating which options are on the meal plan to guests that are waiting in line so that they can be ready to order when they get to the front. As for allergies, multiple people in my family have celiac disease. I think it's pretty amazing that Kings Island actually has a dedicated gluten free stand (coney mall potato works) and offers a gluten free pizza option. I've asked many times about which items contain gluten (like in the burrito bowl at hanks) and I think the park is apprehensive to say some items are gluten free of they know they are coming in contact with gluten through shared kitchens and utensils. While this limits the options for my family, I can respect the fact that they don't want people with allergies to get sick... Which is likely what would happen if they published a complete allergy list menu for all food items. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Have you really noticed that recently? The last few weeks when I have been on boo blasters I was impressed that it's actually it's own FUNtv content... It has songs like thriller and is all "dark" content. I don't go much during haunt, but I assume it's recycled content that is used for that. Regardless, I thought it fit the theme... So I'm curious if your comment is based on old data or if I've just gotten lucky when I've rode this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm not sure what that means. They had four webcams at the start of last season... But then 2 of them (Planet Snoopy & Soak City) disappeared from the website. I thought all 4 were live when they had them... But maybe not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The new slide complex has green/red lights to indicate when new sliders can go... I'm not exactly sure how they work. From what I saw the bulk of the delays are from people just moving slowly and trying to figure out how to back into their launch tubes. Once loaded, they generally launch quickly. Bat walk on, Banshee 15, Vortex 15, backlot 15... Everything else long (as expected). WWC looks like an hour. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This question again... Does anyone know?

Also, if the booth is staffed... The booth operator can use their scanner gun and it effectively scans the QR code from the app. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The QR code from the official app (or from moving the pass into passbook on iOS won't work). You can take a picture of your pass and add it to something like key ring and that picture will work. Alternatively, when you pull up to a lane you can tap the screen and manually enter your pass number (which is displayed in the app) then hit submit and the gate will open. Yes it's open. Rode it today and got blasted by thrill biscuit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The service was great today. Looks like they anticipated huge memorial day Saturday crowds... Which didn't really happen... Every food place had both sides running (even chicken shack) and I didn't see ANY waits. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My son convinced me to just come. We watched origins in a half full theater and got pizza in a no line river town la Rosa. Waits are shorter than a to typical Saturday... Although now that the rain stopped I expect things to start getting crazy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think the difference is that there isn't quick/easy access from the back kitchen to the front "open area" past the registers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This question was directed at those who do count their rides. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Do any of you enthusiasts use an app to count your coaster rides? If so, what would you recommend? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

At fest haus la Rosa that is exactly what they do.... You complete the line and pay and then they bring you your pizza in a box through the side door near the registers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^ what are you talking about "The streak"? None of the individual slides in the tropical plunge complex are individually named. FYI, Both the "plunge" body slides level and the inner tube slides level have 3 slides each. For each the inner tube slides, the fastest is the light blue on the left... Slowest & longest is the purple on the right. For the body slides it's the opposite. Slowest is the far left, fastest is the far right (yellow). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Today wasn't bad at all. Walk on Vortex, 5 minute beast. Limited food options and a decent amount of school groups, but most of the buses rolled out around 5pm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They added some nice plants to the front sign. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

To me this is coasterstock thing. If the ride ops said that to everyone on a normal day, the majority of guest would have no idea what they were talking about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How could they make that a policy? If you ride it, don't go on it talking about snapping... Don't look all intense about it... Just ride the ride, and laugh and smile like you are having the good time that you know your having... And act like you don't even notice that you snapped it... Just like a random parent might do if they happened to snap it themselves. Even in that scenario, if the attendant said "don't snap the ride", a random guest who happened to be snapping would likely have no idea they were taking to them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees

After my visit to the park today, I went over to the tennis complex to watch the beach volleyball tournament. Olympic athletes like Walsh-Jennings and dalhauser were playing there today. The blimp was part of the television cast (which was pumped into the tv's around the volleyball arena. -
In the kid area, there was DEFINITELY a Disney song playing... Which made me think the park probably doesn't directly get the music rights, but rather pays for a service that gives them music... And that service gets the rights for multiple clients. Although I was surprised KI would be ok with a soundtrack that includes a Disney song. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Those were actually in the fest haus.I think it may have been for some music thing... There were some music stands on it this morning, although I didn't see people... But maybe they moved that into fest haus give the weather (some groups were playing in there)
