Is the complexity/unfairness that you have to pay the initiation fee again if you want to upgrade between memberships? Is it that if you're already paying for a pass and upgrade to a membership then you'll lose out on any money you've already paid? Something isn't making sense to me with this scenario.

Do we think we will see any adjustment in regions going into next year with the loss of the ENCHANTED parks? MidWest region kinda got drained in this deal with the loss of St Louis, Worlds of Fun, Mi Adventure AND ValleyFaire. We are down to what? Ki, CP, CW, GAmer and what else? Personally I don't think Canadian parks should count just because of the added difficulty in travling to them with passport needs. I'm pretty tapped out on KI and even CPoint a bit at this point. I probably wont renew unless they sweeten the pot with the all park access as an incentive again this year. We've got a few more to hit still.

So few

Follow through

And not renew

But those that do, are offset by all the new passholders.

Unless some things get addressed, I will be among the followed through and offset by a new passholder.

I don't think they will adjust any of the regions, especially considering the fact that each region officially contains 5-6 "resorts" (including waterparks). There aren't really any parks that can move regions unless you include one of the lower-tier East Coast parks. East Coast only lost LaRonde, Midwest lost four parks, and Texas lost one park — I think the regions were originally created with this in mind as they're all now much better balanced. The Midwest Region also has 4 of the chain's top 10 resorts in it, which should count for something (3 if you exclude Canada's Wonderland).

See the regional breakdown below (a * denotes that the resort received a Park President position):

East Coast Region (https://www.sixflags.com/east-coast-region) 6 Resorts

  1. Kings Dominion & Soak City
  2. Carowinds & Carolina Harbor*
  3. Six Flags New England & Hurricane Harbor
  4. Six Flags Over Georgia & Hurricane Harbor Atlanta + White Water*
  5. Great Adventure + Hurricane Harbor New Jersey + Wild Safari*
  6. Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom

Midwest Region (https://www.sixflags.com/midwest-region) 6 Resorts

  2. Canada's Wonderland & Splash Works*

  5. Hurricane Harbor Rockford
  6. Cedar Point + Cedar Point Shores*

Texas Region (https://www.sixflags.com/texas-region) 5 Resorts

  1. Six Flags Over Texas + Hurricane Harbor Arlington*
  2. Hurricane Harbor Splashtown
  3. Schlitterbahn Waterpark New Braunfels
  4. Frontier City + Hurricane Harbor Oklahoma City
  5. Fiesta Texas & Hurricane Harbor San Antonio

West Coast Region (https://www.sixflags.com/west-coast-region) 7 Resorts

  1. Knott's Berry Farm + Knott's Soak City*
  2. California's Great America & South Bay Shores

And then they have to keep lowering their prices more and more every year to draw in people with low standards, like they did this past year. Doesn't seem like a great business strategy.
