Browntggrr
This park was actually pretty fun when I turn around and look at it. It had the cool classic coasters and some modernized coasters and same with the flats. It's just too bad that everyone did not feel the same way. If that was the general feeling, we would not be having this discussion.
Guest faceoff
I have rode the starfish and the ride is a-lot of fun. I have also rode the same type of ride at kennywood(wipeout). The el dorado should not be placed anywhere. The ride is slow, not thrilling at all. The ride is a waste of valuable space. The top spin is fun. I would hope that the double loop will be placed in another park. If i had the money, i would buy big dipper and re build for all to enjoy. cstrwomann
I have heard on other web sites that WOF is getting Double Loop, VF is getting Sky Scraper, Time Warp, and El Darado, KD is getting Dominator, Mich-Thunder Hawk, Carowinds-Head Spin, and DP-Villian. I have heard that the carousel, dodgems, ferris wheel, and water rides are staying at the park. KI may get The Big Dipper if it has to be relocated. Maybe CP will get Texas Twister??? Where is BLMR going??

AdventureExpresser
I know Cedar Point is wanting to do away with Demon Drop, you think that might be a place for the Texas Twister???? If so, hope they do it up a little like the one at Kings Dominion, put it over water and have the fountains, that makes it a little more exciting... KIBeast
I posted this in another forum, but, I heard rumor that Texas Twister was pictured on a brochure for Great America for 2008. Not sure if there's any truth to it or not.
AdventureExpresser
You never know, they might have pictured the one at Kings Island on that brochure, and take out Tomb Raider.....
FOFirehawkFAN
This is soo sad, but it seems there is still a lot of conflicting rumors as to whats going where, guess we'll just have to wait and see.
BoddaH1994
Just think of the WIIFM "What's in it for me?" As Kings Island fans, now Cedar Fair will have more money to invest into profitable parks like Kings Island than loose money at parks like Geauga Lake. You're coming out ahead. Beast1979
It's sad to see great coasters being taken from a park. I bet we get a flat. Beast1979
DropZone99
How tall is head spin? 116.5 feet. If it goes to Carowinds, it'll be the tallest roller coaster at the park!

Browntggrr
It's a sad day at a theme park when it's tallest coaster is a Vekoma Boomerang! Beast1979 Why does a park need to have tall coasters so they are not sad? Some of the best coasters out there are not tall at all. Not to mention, if it would happen to get moved to Carowinds, it would only be the tallest by 1.5'. The Big Dipper is one of the favorite coasters at the former GL, and it is only 65'. westcoaster
Well Interesting topic for sure: 1st: SFGA competes with so many amusement parks Rumors are that eventually it may become Knotts, it seems lots of the California parks are so land locked and built around: Kings Island too will be built totally around eventually luckily theres a expressway in the front of us that cant' be built on: 2nd all coasters that are the highest and biggest etc etc are'nt the best: Good for carowinds if they get the coaster: 3rd What do you all feel I fell that Cedar Point is #1 knotts #2 Canadas # 3 and were # 4 out of the chain:

Usually this is fixed when refering to the two Six Flags by calling them SFGAm and SFGAdv, you probably should just stick with PGA or perhaps CFGA or even just GA until CF decides to name it KGA. Beast1979
Face/Off is the only real smooth Vekoma Boomerang or Invertigo I've ever been on. Head Spin. More like Head Bang! Beast1979

Beast1979 By THAT standard, I suppose Six Flags Great Adventure is the grandest park in all the world...at least on those days when Kingda Ka is running (which has been virtually every day this summer...just imagine!) erniebald57
Great America has put out a "teaser" for a new ride...with a picture of a top spin. Looks like Texas Twister may be going to California. Head Spin was rumored to go to Carowinds. Actually it's a bit lame to be moving a crusty boomerang IMHO. Scrap it and SAVE THE BIG DIPPER. Save the Dipper is a nice thought, as long as it doesn't end up at KI. I don't think it would hang with The Racer too well, lot's of woodies at KI. They should leave it where it is, and build a Geauga Lake museum. Lots of pictures of the original park and stuff. I hear a lot about a park that used to be at Buckeye Lake in central Ohio. The park is gone, and no history remains. I hope they don't make that mistake at GL too.
ClevelandRocks10
I would love to leave the Big Dipper where it is and have a museum dedicated to Geauga lake, it would be great for all the locals who loved the park all these years. The Interpreter
Given Cedar Fair's current financial condition, that is probably about as likely as 25 cent cotton candy again next year. . .
