Browntggrr Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 It really doesn't matter what soft drinks will be sold at KI. The real question is: What frosty beverages will we have to choose from in 2008?
Purplehaze Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 ^^^ OH... Great question. And if the cost will rise on them.
The Interpreter Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I have it on good authority that frosty cold ice water will continue to be free at the food stands. Feel better now?
Browntggrr Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 ^ Frosty ice water just doesn't have the same *kick* I was looking for.
The Interpreter Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Speaking of RC, I remember Kick. It was a tarter competitor to Mountain Dew, or so they hoped. Kind of like Squirt. Now that stuff had a Kick.
The Interpreter Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Does the park even HAVE root beer? I don't remember that it does....
Purplehaze Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I do not believe it does. It would be nice though.
WooferBearATL Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Does the park even HAVE root beer? I don't remember that it does.... Only time that I ever remember Root Beer in the park was when Ice Cream Shoppe was an actually walk in/sit down stand. When it was closed and made into Candy Shop and Ice Cream was moved down next to Larosa's - they did not add it back on.
beastdude Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 add faygo its cheap and yummy but honestly to me it doesnt matter because i mainly get water, I would love it if they had unsweetened iced tea. Heres a tip for those who dont want to spend a lot of money and have a healthy yet cheap drink. OK buy a speacilty cup from the park have it filled with water then have a tube of the crystel light. mix them together and you got a tasty drink.
Purplehaze Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Or, Dont buy a cup and get a free water and use the tubes.
Purplehaze Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 But then again you know my slogan" Support the park buy a beer".lol
beastdude Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Or, Dont buy a cup and get a free water and use the tubes. haha only 18 man
Purplehaze Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I believe free water is given to minors also...lol
gnarkiller Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 I hope that Kings Island gets Pepsi for 2008. Personally i think it is the best soft drink company.
NatiReds084 Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Might as well get some monster energy drinks too. lol
vortexdemon05 Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Don't take this to be CONFERMED but i went up to get my season pass made and i did however seen a Pepsi truck leaving the KI Employee parking lot. don't know if they were turning around or what. but they did pull out of the Kings Island lot!!!!! Chris
PKIVortex Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Be nice to be able to get a Mountain Dew while inside KI. LOL
Guest rcfreak339 Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 I would hate for Pepsi to come to KI I love just drinking a nice cold Coke. I really do perfer Powerade over Gatorade I think it has alot more flavor then Gatorade.
LongliveKingsCobra Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 ^^No Gatorade is much much MUCH more sweet thn Powerade, thouhg i must agree Powerade is much better
Vortex Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 I hope that Kings Island gets Pepsi for 2008. Personally i think it is the best soft drink company. Sorry to tell you its still Coke Cola for 2008.
Guest rcfreak339 Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 ^^No Gatorade is much much MUCH more sweet thn Powerade, thouhg i must agree Powerade is much better No, what I said was alot more flavor not sweeter, lol
Browntggrr Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Quite honestly, just keep a cooler in your car for refreshments. That way, not only is it cheaper, you can also pick your flavor too. I honestly cannot remember the last time my family actually bought a soft drink at a park.
Purplehaze Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Brown is right. If you buy the suvinior cup you can freely carry it in and out of the park. Just do not put beer in it..lol
Beast1979 Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Whatever it is it's going to be expensive. . . .
LongliveKingsCobra Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Heard that dipndpots'll be 5 bucks.... I like Coke it tast better. But ya Coke will stay at KI i think
Ashers Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 I'm glad Coke is going to stay at KI! There's nothing like an ice cold fountain Coke. Although I do agree with some people that Pepsi tastes better than Coke when they come in cans. I wish we could have Coke, wild cherry Pepsi and mountain dew. Yum!! The one thing I wish they did serve was some Brisk raspberry iced tea....I loooove that stuff! So refreshing! But then again I usually stick with ice water all day. But nothing tastes better with LaRosas than a big cup of Coke! By the way.....does anyone ever get yelled at for calling it 'pop'? I have friends in Cali and they always say "What's a pop? It's SOOOODA!" I'm like, um no....POP! I think it's funny we call it pop, they call it soda....and in places down south they just call everything 'Coke'. LOL! ~Ash
